1. Davido and D’Prince

Born David Adedeji Adeleke, Davido is one of Nigeria’s biggest music exports. Bursting onto the scene in 2011 with "Dami Duro," he has gone on to become a global sensation, winning awards and topping charts worldwide. Meanwhile, D’Prince is a musician who has made a name for himself under Mavin Records with hits like "Take Banana" and "Omo Oba." As the younger brother of Don Jazzy, he played a key role in the Afrobeats movement of the 2010s. Here’s a throwback photo of a young Davido and D’Prince before Davido's career skyrocketed.

2. Iyabo Ojo, Funke Akindele, and Tonto Dikeh

Iyabo Ojo is a powerhouse in Nollywood, starring in both Yoruba and English-language films. Beyond acting, she has built a successful brand as an entrepreneur and social media influencer. Funke Akindele, best known for her role in "Jenifa’s Diary," has directed and starred in some of Nigeria’s highest-grossing films, cementing her status as a Nollywood icon. Meanwhile Tonto Dikeh, known for her bold personality, rose to fame with standout roles in movies like "Holy Cross" before expanding into philanthropy and politics. 4. Sarz and Kizz Daniel

Osabuohien Osaretin, better known as Sarz, is one of Nigeria’s most influential music producers. Responsible for some of the biggest hits in Afrobeats, he has crafted sounds for top artists in the industry. Kizz Daniel, born Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, shot to fame with his debut hit "Woju" and has since continued to dominate the music scene with back-to-back hits. Seeing these two together in an old picture is a reminder of how far they’ve come in the industry.

5. Denrele Edun and Linda Ikeji

Denrele Edun is one of Nigeria’s most eccentric media personalities, known for his bold fashion sense and charismatic hosting style. His impact on entertainment and pop culture is undeniable. Linda Ikeji, on the other hand, made a name for herself as one of Nigeria’s most influential bloggers, building a media empire from the ground up. Both have shaped Nigerian entertainment in different ways, and this throwback picture of them together is proof of their long-standing friendship.

6. Desmond Elliott and Mercy Johnson

Desmond Elliott started as a Nollywood actor before transitioning into politics, where he currently serves as a Lagos State lawmaker. His acting career saw him starring in countless Nollywood classics. Mercy Johnson, beloved for her versatility, has become one of the most respected actresses in Nigeria, known for delivering powerful performances across multiple genres.
