The ladies speak their mind

By Jide OkonjoPublished about a year ago 3 min read

Right now, one of the hottest topics in Nigeria is about Bobrisky and a released recording of a phone call that was released that has audio of Bobrisky claiming that she was never in police custody as we all thought she was, and was rather in a private dwelling close to the police station.

The topic has been a hot button one with many people giving their thoughts, and so of course, the ladies of TVC's Your View also had to give their thoughts on it, and they are listing out the 3 reasons why they never believed that Bobrisky went to prison. Here are the reasons they gave.

Speaking about the three reasons why they didn't believe Bobrisky went to prison, the first reason was given by Nymat who said:

REASON 1

NYMAT: Let me start from where I believe that story from. So from when he went to court, he went with a travelling a bag. The picture of that travelling bag, I will find it and send it to you. As in, 3 step travelling bag like he was at the airport. And he came to court like that. Was he going to be bathing and changing cloth? I do prison visits a lot. Was he going to be bathing, and changing cloth, and rubbing cream in the prison? That one confused me. So when this video came out yesterday, I was like I knew from time. Because he went in a privileged way.

Then, the second reason also given by Nymat was:

REASON 2

NYMAT: Then when he came out, he came out so fat. He did not involve in any of those prison activities. When you go to prison, for these people to even get a bit of rest, they have to go to the churches and the mosques, and sometimes to get food, they have to join the religious interventions that come on weekends. So it's a tough place to be, it's not one place that somebody goes and the head is bigger than the body when they come out. The way he came out, it came out like he was pampered. So for me, without any doubt, I would not believe the comptroller general of the custodial center without video evidence, and I doubt they have CCTVs in the prison.

Finally, the third reason was given by Yeni Kuti who said:

REASON 3

YENI KUTI: The thing that made me suspicious then was when James Brown went to see him, but he didn't see him. He stayed there taking pictures with other people, but he didn't get to see Bobrisky. So I wondered at the time, why wasn't he allowed to see Bob in prison?
