Some people seem to go about their daily lives without difficulty and can get things done, but for others there are struggles that need to be dealt with when in the field.

When faced with a project, some may just not want to do it. Others don’t believe they deserve to accomplish anything great because they think of themselves as inferior. These personality types can be destructive, which is why it’s important learn the traits and how to overcome them.

In this post you will learn different personality types that can harm you, their traits and how to get past them. You will also learn what your own personality type is so you can work around any difficulties that may arise.

1. The Downer

People with this personality type are the ones who are critical of things that can go wrong and tend to bring everyone down. Those who have this type find it hard to be optimistic about anything because all they see is that things can go wrong, bad things happen and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. They may be afraid of failure and that belief affects their very core as well as other people around them.

2. The Dreamer

The dreamer has a goal in mind but he or she doesn’t have what it takes to actually achieve the dream because they lack the motivation to do so. They feel like they can just dream and make all these plans to get there, yet they never take the steps necessary to do so. Dreams are usually very far off and not achievable, so these types end up losing hope and faith in themselves.

3. The Rejector

This personality type can be very difficult for people around them because they reject almost everything that comes their way. It is hard not to get into arguments with this type because they are very obstinate about the things that bother them but have no control over what happens around them. They won’t give in and are unlikely to change their minds.

4. The Victim

The victim is a helpless individual who blames the world for his or her problems. They can get very defensive when others around them try to help because they feel like it’s not their fault that they have problems and that it is the fault of others in their lives. It makes them feel strong when someone else takes the blame for something, so this personality type is hard to break down and help.

5. The Perfectionist

This personality type is very hard to deal with because it’s not just about being concerned with the quality of something, but being overly concerned. They are afraid to make any mistakes because they think it will reflect badly on them. They want everything they do to be perfect and they won’t let anyone break the rules no matter how much it goes against their own personal beliefs.

6. The Wimp

The wimp has a very hard time taking a stand and expressing his or her opinions or concerns. They haven’t done much in life so they don’t feel worthy of anything and don’t think they deserve many things that other people do get. These types aren’t always aware of the consequences their actions have on other people so they are easy to manipulate.

7. The Perfectionist Victim

People with this personality type will do anything to get out of a situation and feel like they can’t be embarrassed because they feel as if they don’t deserve to be embarrassed. They don’t think that what happens around them is their fault and they are more concerned with how others view them. These types can be very hard to deal with because they find everything irritating, so it’s hard for anyone else to understand why these traits exist within them.

8. The Dreamer Victim

People with this personality type are embarrassed by almost everything and they make it seem like they are the only one who has ever had to deal with these situations. They don’t think they have any skills and can be very high maintenance when expressing themselves because they feel like no one cares about how they feel. These types won’t learn from the past because their biggest struggles will always be in front of them.

9. The Jock

A person with this type is likely to be a sports fanatic, especially if he or she plays sports year-round. He or she may not have many other interests because they are so focused on sports, which makes it hard for them to get through life. They spend more time with friends who have sports in common than friends who aren’t interested in the same things.

10. The Caring Type

This personality type is very sensitive to those around them and needs to be aware of how others are feeling at all times. They tend to listen to the world and care about things that may not even personally affect them. These types don’t mind doing this because they want everyone else to be happy no matter what is happening around them. They are very easy to be around for some but can also be highly annoying for others.

Finally

When someone has an extreme personality trait it can be very hard to deal with. You may have these types of personalities in your life and you need to make sure you’re not hurting yourself or others around you. It’s important to understand what each personality type is about and learn how to deal with them instead of allowing them to get the best of you.

This is especially true if you are someone who gets upset every time something doesn’t go your way or says something negative about your personality, etc. I usually have a person who just wants me to make things better but my problem comes in when they don’t understand why exactly I am working so hard at getting things fixed.
