There was a small town on the outskirts of a dense forest, and it was said that anyone who entered the woods would never come back. A group of curious teenagers decided to test this theory and ventured into the forest one night. They walked deeper into the woods until they came across an old, abandoned house. The house looked like it had been deserted for years, but there was something eerie about it that made the teens want to explore it.
As they made their way through the dilapidated rooms, they heard strange noises and felt a chill in the air. Suddenly, they heard a voice calling out to them. It was coming from upstairs, and they cautiously followed the sound. They climbed the creaky stairs and found a room at the end of the hallway. The room was dark, but there was a faint glow emanating from a corner. As they approached the light, they saw a dusty old book lying on a table.
One of the teenagers picked up the book and started to read it. As she did, she felt a strange energy coursing through her body. The other teens felt it too, and suddenly, they heard a loud thud coming from the other side of the room. They turned around and saw that the door had slammed shut, trapping them inside.
Panic set in as they realized they were trapped. They pounded on the door, but it wouldn't budge. Suddenly, they heard footsteps outside the door, and a cold draft swept through the room. The temperature dropped rapidly, and their breaths turned to fog in the air. The teenagers huddled together, their eyes fixed on the door.
As they watched in terror, the door began to shake violently. The teens braced themselves as the door burst open, revealing a figure looming in the doorway. It was a woman, or at least it had once been. Her skin was gray and cracked, and her eyes glowed with an otherworldly light. The teens screamed and tried to run, but the woman moved impossibly fast, blocking their escape.
The woman spoke in a language they couldn't understand, and they felt a strange sensation in their heads. The words echoed through their minds, and they realized that the woman was a witch who had been trapped in the house for centuries. She had been waiting for someone to find the book, which held the key to her release. The teens had unwittingly freed her, and now they were her prisoners.
The teens tried to fight back, but they were no match for the witch's powers. She toyed with them, twisting their minds and bodies until they were nothing more than hollow shells. The witch cackled with delight as she took their souls, and their bodies were left to rot in the abandoned house.
From that day forward, the townspeople whispered tales of the cursed house in the woods. They knew that the witch was still out there, waiting for her next victims to stumble upon the book and release her once again. And so, the abandoned house remained untouched, a warning to all those who dared to venture into the dark depths of the forest.
