Whispers of the Yamanashi Forest
Aiko’s Vengeance

In the silence of the forest, where shadows whisper truths, vengeance finds a voice louder than justice ever could.
In the serene yet isolated town of Yamanashi, Japan, 14-year-old Aiko lived a modest life
with her single mother. Their small apartment was humble but filled with love; her mother who
worked tirelessly at two jobs to provide Aiko with a future brighter than her own. Aiko
"A mother’s love knows no bounds, even when the world demands more than she has to give"
understood her mother's sacrifices; Ams carried her struggles quietly. Her lips sealed even
when the weight became unbearable.
At school, life was a stark contrast. Aiko became the target of four cruel classmates—Yami,
Hana, Sora, and Rika. They preyed on her for her financial situation, mocking her tattered
shoes and homemade lunch. Their bullying escalated from harsh words to unspeakable
violence. They would burn her hands and legs with cigarettes and leave bruises from
relentless beating. Aiko bore it silently, refusing to tell her mother. She didn't want to further
burden the already drowning-in-sacrifice women.
It was on fateful day one that bullying attained its peak. It was when Yamii and her mates
dragged Aiko to a dense forest at one secluded trace situated on the town outskirts. under
the shadow of the tall trees, they pushed her around, slapped her, and hurled insults. They
were relentless. Aiko stumbled and fell backward, hitting her head on a jagged rock. The
world faded to black as her blood soaked the earth. The girls froze in shock. They hadn't
meant for it to go this far. panicked, they fled the scene, leaving Aiko's lifeless body behind.
Their rich and influential families acted fast to hush the case, and it was buried even before it
could start. Aiko's mother was informed that her daughter had run away from home, and she
was heartbroken and sought answers.
Days turned into weeks. Then, bizarre things started to happen. Anyone who ventured out
into the trace disappeared without being seen. Those who wandered here, even thrill
seekers—none ever returned. This once-popular site became shrouded in fear, and words of
a wrathful spirit swept through Yamanashi.
Four girls haunted by remorse and fear found their way. Motivated by curiosity and in
desperate need of the end, they agreed to trace together the way to see an end. Armed
themselves with flashlights and false bravado into the dark forest that fateful, ominous night.
The air was cold and eerily still as they moved further into the trees. Suddenly, a figure
emerged—pale, bloodied Aiko, her eyes empty yet full of unspeakable rage. The girls
screamed, backing away, but Aiko's apparition moved with otherworldly speed. She was no
longer the timid girl they once knew. She was vengeance incarnate.
Vengeance doesn’t scream; it whispers, and in its whisper lies terror untold.
One after another, she hunted them. Yami dragged into the dark, her shrieks cut dead. Hana
tripped and fell, only to feel an icy grip across her neck. Sora and Rika fled together, to no
avail. The forest appeared to come to life, now helping Aiko in her vendetta. It was dawn,
and all four were gone without a trace, for their bodies would never be discovered.
Since the night, vanishing ceased, and the trace returns to its peculiar calm, although the
town muttered of Aiko's spirit living to guard forever with the forest, seeing that no human
would ever torture those innocents once again.
And as the first light of dawn touched the forest, it carried the promise that no cruelty would ever go unanswered again
