“Whispers in the Fog”

Some doors should never be opened... especially the ones you can't see.

Arriving at

ACT I-Manor, Eleanor arrives on a stormy afternoon.

Wickhorn Manor House is huge and corrupt. The strange symbols are carved on wooden beams, and antique mirrors are always in the hallways, regardless of the weather.

The locals are polite but far away. An old lady from a town shop places a note in Eleanor's basket with the inscription "Don't listen to me."

Tonight, Eleanor is listening in front of her window in the mist. Sounds like her mother's voice - lasts five years. She strips it up as fatigue. However, the fog gets thicker every night.

Act II- Manor House's final

exploration, Eleanor found a sealed room on the third floor, whose doors were closed from outside. She also finds an old heirloom that has a message from her big aunt Agatha Drake, who once lived there: This is how they go through. “

She learned from Mr Penrose, a local librarian, that the Manor House was used as a veil of ashes for occult experiments by Agatha and secret companies at the end of the 19th century. It knows her secrets - her guilt over her mother's death, her loneliness, her fears in her childhood. And she heard it one night at the Manor House. It's not outside. Something will be entered.

The object begins to move. The mirror reflects what is not there. She finds muddy footprints in the hallway. And every time she tries to go, the fog gets worse - thick, dazzling, impossible to drive. She was caught.

Residents of cities become anxious. Mr. Penrose warns her: "It doesn't want a house. It wants a body."

It finally breaks into a sealed room and finds an old book - in the skin, a page of Latin rituals that open the veil. There is no last page. The blood color has been colored on the ground. She realizes that Agatha tried to seal the veil forever - and fails.

Why is this movie so scary:

atmosphere than gore: Like a classic horror movie, it relies on mood, fear and atmosphere instead of blood. The thick mist, old villas, and whispers create a constant sense of discomfort.

Psychological fear: it passes through their minds. You never know if what she's seeing is real.

Unknown: The nature of "hollow things" is never fully revealed. You just get insight, noise, emotions and give it to your imagination.

Classic horror elements used in a fresh way - mirrors do not reflect or show what's behind them. Slow descent: Eleanor's gradual collapse makes it feel even more realistic. They see their mental health and the way the mist around them slips through their fingers.
