Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest in the world. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.60% of the total area of the Sundarbans is located in Bangladesh and 40% in India. The south-western part of Bangladesh has immense natural resources. The forest is home to thousands of animals including Royal Bengal tiger, Chitra deer, crocodiles, Dolphins. For thousands of years, this forest has served as a source of livelihood for the local people and protection from natural disasters. But this Sundarbans is becoming a nightmare for many today. The balance of the Sundarbans is severely disturbed today due to unplanned human activities, climate change, deforestation and natural disasters.

"Eye in the eye of the tiger — - the terrible night of the Sundarbans Shyamnagar is the largest upazila of Bangladesh. My place of birth is Shyamnagar upazila. So we are familiar with the beauty and formidable form of Sundarbans. Abir, a young man from a village near Shyamnagar, ventured deep into the Sundarbans to catch fish. He was accompanied by two friends. By boat they went along the satarkhali River. He spent the day fishing by dropping his nets, and in the afternoon sat on the boat and started cooking.

The deeper into the night, the more terrible the sound of the Deep Jungle sounded. Suddenly a voice came from behind the bushes—"gorrrr..."

Friends thought it would be a monkey or a pig. But Abir's eyes fell on a pair of bright yellow eyes, which were glowing even in the dark. His eyes were so cold that he froze. Suddenly ,the Royal Bengal tiger came out of the bushes in one fell swoop. The color of the skin is like fire, strange anger in the eyes. The three of them somehow managed to climb into the tree trunk and survive, but the tiger, after being around the boat for a long time, slipped into the unspoiled forest. The night passed in the nightmares of their three friends. In the morning they return to the village. He never went deep into the woods. Many of them died in the forest and never came back. His body was found after a thorough search by forest officials.

The beautiful Sundarbans is not just a forest—it is a living painting in the touch of nature. Its green nature, calm rivers and the silent Reign of tigers evoke thrill and love in the reader. Sunderbans-a shining example of the boundless love of nature!
