If you're a fan of supernatural horror or just looking for a great cinematic experience, this movie is worth a look. Krishnadev Yagnik presents a powerful psychological drama full of suspense and twists.

My Review

The film begins with a warning from the director that this film is not for the faint-hearted and that pregnant women or people with heart problems should avoid watching it, which is pretty okay for this film. Vash, as he suggests in the local Gujarati/Hindi tradition, the name itself is enough to make you believe that it will be something different and the poster with Janaki, confirms that suspicion. The film is definitely for the weak at heart.

Suffice it to say that the film is almost 2 hours long and wastes no time enthralling us. The film starts off with the story building up, then we get introduced to the characters, especially Arya's, and as it goes on with everything, well, magnify it 1000 times.

The psychological element has been used very well in the film and it keeps you guessing constantly. The writing is phenomenal and the screenplay along with the cinematography keeps you glued to the screen. There is no music in the movie, so what you end up with is a whole 2-hour treat because your heart is not broken.

Being a huge psychological horror fanatic, this was an absolute joy to watch. The acting is superb and punctual. Janki Bodiwala has done a fabulous job with Hittu Kanodia and Hiten Kumar. Although the latter two need no introduction as they are Hollywood superstars, their foray into the mainstream of Gujarati films has served them and us well with such scintillating performances.

Rating

Vash keeps you guessing and has all the right elements to make it worth watching. Again, not for the faint of heart. I would suggest you go and watch the movie in the theaters. In my opinion, I will give a 3.5/5 rating.
