1.RED ROOM CURSE
This scary story comes in the form of a computer popup and originated in the 1990s period when personal computers were just starting to increase across the Japan.
The curse starts with just a popup note that appears on the victim's screen when they are alone in their room. It has a red background with black letters asking "DO YOU LIKE THE RED ROOM?" it's impossible to close the popup, it's just frozen on the computer screen.
And the scary thing was that you won't be able to escape the room you're in when the popup appears, the door and the windows will automatically get shut. And your body will be discovered days later, dead in your room, surrounded by the walls painted red with the victim's blood.
The red room curse became popular in the dark corners of the internet after a 12-year-old girl in Sasebo, Nagasaki was found murdered by her classmate. The murderer, who was remained unnamed due to being 11 years old at the time of the incident, was found to have a link "RED ROOM" bookmarked on her computer.
2.SLENDER MAN
Stories of the Slender Man commonly feature him stalking, abducting or traumatising people, particularly children. The Slender Man is not confined to a single narrative but appears in many disparate works of fiction, typically composed online. Fiction relating to the Slender Man encompasses many media, including literature, art and video series such as Marble Hornets, wherein he is known as The Operator. Outside of online fiction, the Slender Man has become an internet icon and has influenced popular culture, having been referenced in the video game Minecraft with the Enderman character and generated video games of his own, such as Slender: The Eight Pages and its successor Slender: The Arrival. He has also appeared in a film adaptation of Marble Hornets, where he was portrayed by Doug Jones, and a Hollywood eponymous film, where he was portrayed by Javier Botet.
3.Kuchisake-onna
Kuchisake-onna ("Slit-Mouthed Woman")is a malevolent figure in Japanese urban legends and folklore. Described as the malicious spirit, or onryō, of a woman, she partially covers her face with a mask or other item and carries some sort of sharp object. She has been described as a contemporary yōkai.
According to popular legend, she asks potential victims if they think she is attractive. If they respond with "no", she will kill them with her weapon. If they say "yes", she will reveal that the corners of her mouth are slit from ear to ear, and she will then repeat her question. If the individual responds with "no", she will kill them with her weapon, and if they say "yes", she will cut the corners of their mouth in such a way that resembles her own disfigurement. Methods that can be used to survive an encounter with Kuchisake-onna include answering her question by describing her appearance as an "average", or by distracting her with money or hard candies.
4.THE LICKED HAND
A young girl is home alone for the first time with only her dog for the company. Listening to the news, she hears of a killer on the loose in her neighbourhood. Terrified, she locks all the doors and windows, but she forgets about the basement window and it is left unlocked. She goes to bed, taking her dog to her room with her and letting it sleep under her bed. She wakes in the night to hear a dripping sound coming from the bathroom. The dripping noise frightens her, but she is too scared to get out of bed and find out what it is. To reassure herself, she reaches a hand toward the floor for the dog and is rewarded by a reassuring lick on her hand. The next morning, when she wakes, she goes to the bathroom for a drink of water, only to find her dead, mutilated dog hanging in the shower with his blood slowly dripping onto the tiles. On the shower wall, written in the dog's blood, are the words "HUMANS CAN LICK TOO."
