Tunnel No. 33

Everybody knows about Shimla, Its beauty and the mountains attract a ton of tourists each year. When a 13-year-old Anjali's father told her that they'll be going to Shimla for vacation, she was filled with happiness and was very excited about the trip. Anjali and her family started their journey to Shimla the very next day. When they reached there, they enjoyed it a lot for the first two days but on the third day, Anjali's parents decided that they should take a trip to India's well-renowned Swollen district which was near Shimla, so they took the only train that used to travel from Shimla to swollen on that same day in the evening.

At the start of the trip, Anjali was very excited but after a while, the 2-hour trip started feeling very boring and frustrating. She started becoming cranky and annoying and also got shouting from her mother for the same reason. In anger, her mother told her to go and sit on the seat behind. To calm herself Anjali started looking outside the window and suddenly she felt like somebody was sitting right next to her, as soon as she turned and looked at the seat in front of her she saw a boy around the age of 16 to 17 years. Anjali was shocked after seeing the boy but again started looking outside the window. That boy was constantly starring at Anjali and after some time started talking to her and told her, "My house is going to come up soon, would you like to see it?". After listening to what he said, Anjali got hypnotized and she also started starring at that boy. After few seconds the eyes of the boy started to turn bloody red.

The boy got hold of Anjali's hand and proceeded to take her to the door. As she reached the door, Anjali saw a tunnel coming up that seemed abandoned and looked very scary. The boy told Anjali that that was tunnel No. 33 and that it was his home and that his mother is waiting for him in the tunnel. Just after saying that Anjali felt a hard jerk and the boy vanished from her sight, but now Anjali's eyes were all bloody red because the boy had possessed Anjali. As soon as the train entered the tunnel Anjali's situation started becoming worse, she started vomiting blood and her body started to become pale. The moment Anjali put her foot outside the train to jump, the ticket collector came and pulled Anjali inside, but the moment he pulled her in Anjali started screaming and her parents rushed to her after hearing the scream. The ticket collector closed Anjali's eyes and poured water on her head. After the train crossed the tunnel, Anjali regained her consciousness, a weird kind of smoke left from her mouth, and out the train door.

When Anjali told her parents about the boy, they told her that there was no boy of that description in their compartment or the entire train. At that time the ticket collector interrupted and told them that many years back a boy died in tunnel No. 33 after falling from the same train, he also told them that his house was just behind the tunnel and that his mother was the caretaker of the tunnel No. 33, but after the death of her son, she got so depressed that she also gave up her life by coming in front of the same train. After that day, the spirit of that boy is searching for a body, so that he can go to his home. After hearing this, the family of three was very saddened and heartbroken for that boy. After reaching swollen, Anjali was still in shock for a few days but after some days her family took her back home.
