Those eyes will see you

There was a small, isolated town nestled deep in the woods, far from the prying eyes of the outside world. It was a town that seemed to be forgotten by time, a place where the trees were so thick that the sun rarely penetrated the canopy, and the shadows seemed to stretch on forever. The people of this town were strange and reclusive, rarely venturing outside of their homes after dark. They had a sense of unease about them, as if they were hiding something from the rest of the world. But there was one man who had the courage to investigate the secrets of the town. His name was Jack, and he was a young journalist who had been sent to the town to investigate the strange happenings that had been occurring there. As he walked through the deserted streets, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. The silence was deafening, broken only by the sound of his footsteps as he walked down the empty street. Suddenly, he heard a faint whisper behind him, and he turned around to see nothing but the darkness. His heart racing, he quickened his pace, trying to put some distance between himself and whatever was following him. As he rounded a corner, he stumbled upon a dilapidated old mansion. It was an eerie sight, with broken windows and vines crawling up the walls. Jack couldn't resist the urge to investigate further, and he pushed open the door. Inside, the mansion was dark and foreboding. Cobwebs clung to the walls, and the air was thick with the musty smell of decay. Jack's flashlight flickered as he made his way deeper into the mansion, his heart pounding in his chest. Suddenly, he heard a sound coming from upstairs. It was a faint scratching noise, like something was trying to claw its way out of the walls. Jack's curiosity overtook his fear, and he made his way up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, he saw a door that was slightly ajar. He pushed it open, and what he saw made him scream in terror. There, lying on a bed, was a woman. Her skin was pale, and her eyes were black as coal. She was surrounded by candles, and strange symbols were drawn on the walls in blood. As Jack looked at her, he realized that she was not alone. All around her, dark figures were lurking in the shadows, their eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. Jack knew that he had stumbled upon something that was beyond his understanding, and he turned to flee. But as he ran down the stairs, he heard the door creak open behind him. He turned to look, and saw the woman standing in the doorway, her eyes fixed on him. In that moment, Jack knew that he was not going to make it out of the mansion alive. He could feel the dark energy pulsing through the air, and he knew that he had stumbled upon something that was beyond his comprehension. As he stumbled out of the mansion, he could hear the sound of footsteps behind him, and he knew that the dark figures were pursuing him. He ran as fast as he could, but he knew that it was too late. And then, just as he thought that all was lost, he heard the sound of a car engine. He turned to see a police car pulling up beside him, and he knew that he was saved. The police took him back to the station, where he told them everything that he had seen. But when they went to investigate the mansion, they found nothing but a pile of rubble. The people of the town denied any knowledge of the mansion or the strange happenings that had occurred there, and Jack was left to wonder if what he had experienced was real, or if it had all been
