She came to me last night in a dream, the woman in the black gown with her flowing silver hair. Was this Her dream or mine?
I could not tell, but it felt real all the same. We often met in the garden at half past three; most of the forest was asleep by then, so we had more privacy.
I hadn't slept since winter began, and it started showing. The circles under my eyes had darkened three shades since the snow began sticking to the ground.
I longed for Her visit, so I followed instinctively to hear what She said to me. Suddenly I realized I could not hear and started to panic, running through the forest after Her.
As I reached the garden, almost reaching Her, I tumbled into a rose bush. The thorns from the bush dug deep into my skin cutting and slicing at my arms and legs.
Blood started to gush from the 17 puncture wounds I now had. I lay there, unable to hear, frantic and searching for the woman in the black gown, but I failed to see. I had now gone blind.
I was now out of two of my senses. The only sense I had left was to feel my way to the garden as we had met there many times before.
I was sure to find my way to the table. "I thought to myself," I could use the vibration of my voice to see and feel my way to Her.
I started to call out to Her three times in a row. I shouted Her name. The beats lit up everything in the forest around me when I spoke.
I could now glimpse these flashes under my eyelids and see a woman's silhouette in the distance. Was this the woman in the black gown?
I wondered if it indeed had to be. After all, I was in the garden to meet the woman in the black gown.
I started to move quickly toward Her. I could feel pieces of my flesh on the thorns as I emerged from the rose bush, now knowing the path I had to take.
I followed blindly for an eternity until I found myself touching a table. As soon as I placed my hands on the table, the film that was once crusted over my eyes, preventing me from seeing, started to flake and fall down the sides of my cheeks like confetti.
I could see now, even if for a moment, I could see! The table was large, the top made of marble and the bottom mixed with stone and diamonds.
The table started to sparkle from the bits of sun rays that were fighting to make their way to touch the earth.
She was standing next to the table, anticipating my sight to return. It was close to sunrise, and She seemed to have something to show me in the light at this particular moment.
The sun was shining directly into the table now, and the woman with black silver hair started to sparkle as she motioned for me to look closer.
I began to gaze at the table; it was not a table but a mirror, but I could not see myself inside.
How strange, I thought, so I grabbed onto the corner and gazed further into the ripples flowing inside the mirror, now pulling me in closer.
Was this the end or the beginning of something unique and terrifying that I did not want to miss out on?
The sky started to open as someone gazed down, watching us as I looked deep into the mirror.
I lost my balance immediately. I fell into this abyss of darkness, falling and falling for hours; it seemed towards a bright light.
Then, as I was close to reaching it, I woke up and was tucked safely in my bed, feeling ever so grateful that the woman in the black gown had come to visit me in our dreams.

Time to create and be seen.
