The Whispering Ghost of Blackwood Manor

Help me before he find you

By Writer's ZonePublished 9 months ago 1 min read

The old Blackwood Manor's broken windows stood like hollow eyes at the town's edge, watching anyone who dared to approach. There was a rumor among the locals that the halls were haunted by an agitated spirit who had mysteriously died there many years ago.

Until Emily moved in, the stories were believed by no one. Because she had inherited the crumbling estate from a distant relative and was looking for a fresh start, she made the decision to renovate it.

The first night, a faint whisper from the empty hallway, she heard it.

Help me, please! Emily was frozen.

THE HOUSE REMEMBERS AND IT’S HUNGRY...

The voice was desperate and soft. She convinced herself that it was wind. However, the whispers got louder. Pleading, weeping, and occasionally yelling, they came night after night. She went through the house and found only dust and shadows. Then, one evening, she saw the figure: a thin woman in an old dress standing at the end of the hallway and staring blankly at Emily. She was standing at the hallway's end.

"You have to leave… before he comes back."

Emily tried to run away, but the doors just shut on their own. The temperature dropped. A chorus of whispers surrounded her like a storm. Then she saw him—a tall, shadowy figure with an exaggerated smile emerging from the darkness. The following morning, no one spoke in the house. However, if you pay close attention, Emily's voice can still be heard whispering inside the walls even at midnight...

HE’S NOT THE ONLY GHOST ANYMORE

"Help me..." In addition, if you're unlucky, you might catch sight of two people looking out the windows. Waiting.

Hungry.
