The Unsolved Haunting of the Abbottabad Forest: A True Story They Tried to Erase

Locals swear it’s cursed. Authorities deny it exists. But I found the one piece of evidence they missed…

Most ghost stories begin with rumors. This one begins with a police file that shouldn’t exist—a torn page, found by accident, buried deep inside a rusted drawer of an old outpost in the Abbo ttabad. What I uncovered wasn’t just a story… it was a warning.

The Forbidden Path No One Talks About

There’s a stretch of woodland just past the Mirpur Maira trail, shadowed and strangely silent. The locals call it “Chup Darrakhton Ka Jungle”—The Forest of Silent Trees. No birds. No animals. And definitely no human footprints after sunset.

Even Google Maps refuses to track this particular area, simply calling it “Undeveloped Territory.”

But five years ago, a 17-year-old boy named Kaleem vanished here. His disappearance was quickly written off as a runaway case. The file was closed. But his sister, Areeba, never accepted that story.

The Whispering Audio File

In early 2024, Areeba uploaded a chilling audio clip to Reddit under an anonymous handle. She claimed it was Kaleem’s voice, recorded just before he disappeared. It lasted only 37 seconds. I managed to get a copy before it was taken down. In the background, you hear heavy breathing… and then a whisper that isn’t human:

> "Turn around… We never left."

I played that clip on loop, and in one section, at 0:14, a rustling sound revealed something bizarre. When enhanced, the spectrogram showed a shape—not a face, but what looked like an old police badge number. And that’s what led me to the outpost.

What I Haven’t Told Anyone—Until Now

That night, after analyzing the audio, something strange happened. My phone, which had 76% battery, suddenly shut down. The lights flickered. And for a split second, I heard the same whisper from the clip—but it came from behind me. I wasn’t playing anything. I live alone. The hair on my arms stood up. That was the moment I realized… this wasn’t just a story anymore. It was watching me too.

The Hidden Police Report

The badge number belonged to Sub Inspector Haroon Gillani, who mysteriously resigned in 2018. Inside his abandoned desk at the Mirpur outpost, hidden beneath stacks of old reports, I found it:

A single-page incident report from June 2018.

> “Subject: Non-human entity observed at 0430 hrs. Location: Restricted Zone 7A. Recommendation: Site sealed permanently. Personnel advised to forget encounter.”

What They Don't Want You to Know

I contacted Haroon Gillani. He refused to speak. Two days later, his home was vacated. No trace. Not even a utility bill.

I’m publishing this now, knowing it may be taken down. But someone has to finish what Areeba started.

If you’ve heard of anyone else who went missing in that forest—reach out. This story isn’t over.

It’s just beginning.

And obviously I had to find out the real reason hidden behind the curtains of our eyes. Let see what happens

I am doing deep research on this and very soon this mystery will be solved. Wait for my next post and till then good bye. Wish me good luck.
