The Train Killer – Death on the Tracks
''The Mysterious Journey''

Chapter 1: The Mysterious Journey
It was 10 PM. The last intercity train from Dhaka to Chattogram had just departed. Most passengers were asleep. But in one dimly lit compartment, a man named Arif was wide awake. A documentary filmmaker, he had brought his camera along to record the journey.
As the train entered a dense forest area, it suddenly came to a halt. No announcement. No signal. Nothing.
Curious, Arif looked out the window. Through the thick fog, he spotted an old, dilapidated station. The faded signboard read: "Shatobhanga Station"—a name he had never heard before. It wasn’t on any railway map.
Chapter 2: The Strange Old Man
Driven by curiosity, Arif got off the train. The other passengers stayed put—either asleep or frozen in fear.
Outside, shrouded in fog, stood an old man holding a lantern stained with what looked like blood. His eyes were hollow, his presence chilling.
“You can still go back,” the man said in a raspy voice. “If you move forward, tonight will be your final journey.”
Arif dismissed him as a crazy old wanderer and stepped onto the abandoned platform.
Chapter 3: Shadows of Death
Inside the station, everything was frozen in time. The clock had stopped, and an old calendar on the wall displayed the year 1971. The ticket counter was covered in cobwebs. On a dusty notice board, written in red ink:
“Nothing comes here but death. Turn back.”
Arif lifted his phone to take a photo, but the screen only showed darkness. Suddenly, he heard whispers. Cries. Screams. As if dozens of voices were echoing from the fog. The sound of someone being crushed under train wheels. He wasn’t alone.
Chapter 4: The Story of the Train Killer
The old man appeared again.
“You want to know who I am?” he said. “I’m the one forever trapped here. Thirty years ago, a serial killer haunted this route—he wore a red coat and would stop trains, then slaughter the passengers one by one.”
“One night, the police shot him down. But his soul never left. Every year, on this very night, a train mysteriously stops at Shatobhanga Station. And he returns.”
Arif scoffed, “Ghost stories.”
Just then, a scream echoed from the direction of the engine. Arif ran and found the driver missing.
In his place stood a man in a red coat, face shadowed, hands soaked in blood.
Chapter 5: The Final Ride
Panicking, Arif sprinted back to his compartment. Inside, he found every passenger lifeless—eyes open, mouths agape. No sound. No struggle. Just death.
Suddenly, the train began moving again—by itself. As the cursed station vanished into the mist, Arif realized he was lucky to be alive.
He would never forget what he saw that night. He knew then—"The Train Killer" was not just a legend. It was a curse that still haunts the tracks, lurking in silence.
Epilogue
Among the countless stories whispered across the railways of Bangladesh, some remain unspoken. They live in shadows, in silence.
So next time you board a train, ask yourself: Do you know where you’re really going?
