The Silent Village
A real incident happened in a small silent village

Nestled deep within a rain forest, there lay a forgotten village named Madyhood. Its history was shrouded in mystery, and its existence was known to only a few. Legends whispered that the village had been cursed, and those who dared to enter never returned.
One evening, a curious traveler named Vinnah stumbled upon an old map that marked the location of Madyhood. Intrigued by the challenge of uncovering the truth behind the village's reputation, Vinnah packed a bag and set out on a journey into the heart of the forest.
After hours of navigating through tangled undergrowth, Vinnah finally stumbled upon the village. The sight that greeted them was chilling – abandoned houses with broken windows, overgrown gardens reclaiming the land, and a thick silence that hung in the air. The village seemed frozen in time, as if life had suddenly halted.
Undeterred by the eerie atmosphere, Vinnah entered one of the houses. Dust coated the furniture, and cobwebs adorned the corners. A sense of unease grew with every step. In the midst of their exploration, a faint whisper caught Vinnah 's attention. It was a soft, melodic tune, carried on a chilling breeze that seeped through the cracks in the walls.
Following the haunting melody, Vinnah made their way to the village triangle. A lone figure stood there, dressed in tattered clothing that seemed out of place in the modern world. The figure's face was obscured by a hood, casting a deep shadow over their features. As the wind blew, the figure's eerie tune grew louder, filling the air with a hypnotic melody that seemed to tug at Vinnah's very soul.
Unable to resist, Vinnah stepped closer, drawn in by an inexplicable compulsion. The figure's voice grew stronger, resonating with an otherworldly power. Just as the hooded figure's face came into view, Vinnah froze – their eyes met the figure's empty sockets, void of life, yet brimming with an intense, malevolent energy.
Panic surged through Vinnah, and they tried to retreat, but their body seemed to betray them. The haunting melody wrapped around them like invisible chains, and the figure's voice echoed in their mind, filling it with disturbing images and horrifying thoughts. The village itself seemed to come alive, as if the very ground underfoot whispered of long-buried secrets.
With immense effort, Vinnah tore themselves away from the figure's gaze and stumbled back towards the forest. The melody followed, growing louder and more dissonant. Shadows danced in their peripheral vision, and the forest seemed to twist and contort, like a living nightmare.
Exhausted and disoriented, Vinnah finally broke free from the village's grasp, collapsing at the forest's edge. The melody slowly faded, and the forest returned to its natural stillness. As dawn broke,Vinnah made their way back, haunted by the memory of the hooded figure's gaze.
Years later, Vinnah remains haunted by the encounter, unable to shake off the feeling that the village and its curse still linger. The melody continues to play in their nightmares, a chilling reminder of the silent village that forever changed their life, leaving them with a horror that defied explanation.
