Chapter 1: Introduction

That night, the atmosphere in the old house on the outskirts of town was eerie. The rain was pouring down heavily, and the sound of it combined with the creaking of the wooden floor added to the mystical atmosphere. The house was dimly lit, adding to the mysterious atmosphere.

Rani and Arya, two friends who had long been curious about this house, finally decided to explore the place. Their footsteps echoed in the living room, which was filled with thick dust and old furniture covered with white cloth.

"Finally arrived. So this is the family home you told me about?" Rani turned on the flashlight, trying to pierce the darkness.

Arya nodded, "Yes, but I'm not sure why this house was never sold. There's something... strange about it."

Rani chuckled, "Strange how? Are you starting to believe in mystical things now?"

"It's not like that. A long time ago my grandmother told me that there is something here. Something that... doesn't like to be disturbed," Arya replied in a serious tone.

Suddenly, a door at the end of the corridor slammed shut, making them both jump and look at each other.

"Did you hear that?" whispered Arya, her face looking pale.

"Calm down, it's probably the wind," Rani replied with a grin. "I'll go have a look."

Chapter 2: First Encounter with the Shadows

The dark corridor led Rani to a door that had just closed by itself. Cautiously, she opened the door and found only an old wardrobe and a large, cracked mirror in the room.

"See? There's nothing there," she said, stepping inside and noticing the mirror. "This mirror... I think it's been there for ages."

From outside the room, Arya warned, "Don't go too close, Rani."

Immediately, however, a black shadow appeared in the mirror, standing directly behind Rani. Arya saw it and shouted, "RANI! BEHIND YOU!"

Rani turned quickly, but the shadow disappeared in a flash. Her breath caught, "What was that? Did you see something?"

"A shadow... big, black... I'm not lying, Rani," Arya said frantically.

"We have to find out. I'm sure there's something that can explain this," Rani said, trying to stay calm despite her pounding heart.

Chapter 3: Clues from Grandmother Surti

Rani and Arya then went to Nenek Surti, an old neighbor who was known to know about the house. They sat in the living room of Nenek Surti's house, an old woman with a sharp gaze and full of stories from the past.

"So, did you go into the house? You're very brave," Nenek Surti said in a significant tone.

Rani explained, "We did see something, Nek. A black shadow in the mirror. What was it?"

Grandmother Surti sighed, "It wasn't just a shadow. This house once belonged to a shaman who studied black magic. He summoned something from the other world, but he could not control it. The shadow... lives there."

Arya asked worriedly, "Is it dangerous?"

"Very. Don't let him stare at you for too long. Otherwise he might take your souls," Grandmother Surti replied firmly.

Rani looked at Arya, "We must go back. I'm sure there's a way to stop this."

Chapter 4: The Climax

They returned to the old house and found an old book with strange symbols. They read it carefully, trying to find a way to banish the shadows.

"We should light this candle in front of the mirror and cast this spell. But... it's risky," Rani said.

"What risk?" asked Arya curiously.

"The shadow will appear. We must be strong, Arya. Don't show fear," Rani replied as she prepared the candles.

They lit the candle and began to recite the spell from the old book. A black shadow slowly emerged from the mirror, growing larger and more terrifying.

"You dare summon me?" the shadow's voice boomed, making their hearts race.

"We are not afraid of you! Go back where you came from!" Rani shouted as she grabbed Arya's hand.

The Shadow screamed, trying to frighten them. But the mantra continued until the shadow disappeared with a rumbling sound that shook the house.

Chapter 5: Closure

After all the excitement, Rani and Arya left the house with relieved faces. The rain had stopped and the night was finally over.

"You were great, Rani. I don't know what would have happened without you," Arya said with a smile.

"We make a great team. But don't take me to the haunted house again, okay?" Rani replied with a smile.

They walked away, leaving the old house, which now looked quiet. However, inside the house, in the large, cracked mirror, small shadows could still be seen peeking out, signaling that the mystery was not quite over.
