As the Vanguard approached Aurelia Prime, instruments reported erratic fluctuations in atmospheric readings and a faint but persistent electromagnetic pulse. Cameras revealed shadowy movements within the station, though the facility had been officially unoccupied for weeks. Even the AI systems aboard the Vanguard recorded inexplicable glitches, and some crew members claimed to hear whispers echoing through the empty corridors.

Boarding the station, the crew immediately noticed the atmosphere felt “alive.” Gravity and temperature shifted subtly, hallways stretched and warped, and equipment malfunctioned in ways that defied logical explanation.
