On the calm hills of the scenery, there was a village. There was a village, where the mist thickened at night, and there was a place where little moonlight was thrust through the trees. Cedar Hollow was known for its beauty as it was called - its thick forests, curved paths, and old cedar trees lined up all the streets. Nevertheless, there was an aura in the way above the village, and a permanent sense of something completely incorrect.

The villagers rarely talked about it, but if they listened well, they could hear the steaming whispers of the old generation. They spoke about a woman named Lillian. Lillian's spirit is to trace the forests around Cedar Hollow. Her story was as old as the village itself, and it was an immortal thirst for sorrow, betrayal, and revenge.

Lillian once lived in a small house at the edge of the village. She was known for her beauty and friendliness with a smile that could brighten up even on the darkest days. She fell in love with a young man named Elias, a strong and handsome peasant. You should have gotten married and the whole village was happy. But Elias had a secret - a secret to fall apart.

Lillian didn't know that, but Elias was engaged to another woman, a wealthy landowner named Clarissa. His love for Lillian was authentic, but his loyalty to his family and the pressure of his duties surpassed his feelings. The night before Lillian and Elias got married, Elias made a cruel decision. He leaves Lillian at night's death, escapes without words, leaving a note instead. The note simply said, "I cannot be with you. I must fulfill my duties."

Lillian's heart shattered. She was looking for a village for him, but as his family ordered him, he was going to marry Clarissa. The villagers, for whom many saw the love between Elias and Lillian, were broken for them. But no one could change the course of destiny.

days were weeks, and Lillian's grief consumed them. She became a shadow of her ex-self, wandering through the forest and being called by Elias. Her screams echoed through the trees, but they could never answer. Finally, her search for him led her to a dark, remote area in the forest. This was not dared to enter, anyone known as the end of the hollow.

There, Lillian disappeared in the middle of the towering cedar. No one has ever found her. Some believed she died of a broken heart, while others said she had died by hiking deep into the woods. But the truth was even more scary.

Lillian's spirit of rage and broken heart never left the forest. She roamed the hollow forest of cedars, cursed in search of the man who left her forever. And it began to whisper. The villagers, who dared to pass through the forest at night, spoke of strange events, the sensations of being observed, the cold designs, and the unique sounds of the stairs leading to them, if there was no one there. Sometimes they insisted to hear the voices of weak but unmistakable women on moonlight nights: "Elias... come back to me. "It didn't take long for the villagers to avoid the forest, and the path to the edge of Hollow was forgotten. The boy and the old man piloted him from the place, frightening his name altogether. Armed with only his lantern and curiosity, he ventured into the forest on the fateful night. The tree was unnaturally quiet, with its branches hanging down as if watching it. The air was thick with the scent of pine and wet earth, and the silence filled the room. However, as Henry got deeper, his sense of follow-up became stronger. The hair on his neck was on the edge, and his breathing accelerated.

Then he saw her from the mist - in a flowing white dress, her face hidden in the shade. Her voice reached her ears, soft but hopeless. "Why did you come?" She whispered. "Why do you step on a place you don't belong?"

Henry's mind skipped the blow. He took a step back, but his figure seemed to slide over him, her pale hands reaching out. She approached, and she could see her face - a mourning face, her eyes were hollow and dark, her lips torn into a sad smile. "You... you're like him," she said, her voice was low and chilled. "Like him, you left me."

Before Henry could react, the wind blew in, and the forest seemed to live with all the energy. The trees groaned, and the floor trembling beneath his feet. A cold, spectral hand clenched his arm, bringing it closer to his heart.

"Let me do," he snapped into his pulse race, air. "It didn't mean damage."

, but it was too late. The spirit's eyes were on him, and for a moment, Henry had the feeling that his soul was being drawn out of his body. The last thing he heard was Lillian's voice. Lillian whispered to the trees. I will make you stay with me forever. "

The next morning, the villagers found Henry's lantern on the edge of the forest. He was never seen again.

And Cedar Hollow's curse continued. Lillian's spirit, caught up in the forest, demanding another victim and searching for Elias, or anyone who looked like him, remained infinite. Her sad cry was heard in a quiet night drifting through the village, sluggishly by the wind.

Some say she is still waiting in the centre of the forest, lost and longing. Others believe that she will never rest until the day something like Elias is instructed to end her suffering and ultimately find her heart.

But up until then, Cedar Hollow is a place of darkness, a place where the past never actually leaves.
