The Long Tie Man

A tale of a haunted chair

By Vinodhini.SPublished 3 years ago 5 min read

Once upon a time, there was a small village where people lived a peaceful life. Everything was perfect until a strange man arrived in the village. He was a tall man with pale skin, sharp features, and a long tie that reached down to his feet. No one knew who he was or where he came from, but the villagers started to feel a strange and eerie presence around him.

The man started to haunt the village at night, causing fear and panic among the villagers. People started to lock their doors and windows and refused to come out after dark. The villagers tried to find out more about the man, but no one knew anything about him.

One day, a young boy was playing in the village square when he stumbled upon a strange, old chair. It was a wooden chair with intricate carvings and an odd aura about it. The boy felt an irresistible urge to sit in the chair, and as soon as he did, he was transported to another world, a world of darkness and terror.

In this world, the evil man with the long tie was waiting for him. The man had a sadistic smile on his face and his eyes were dark and cold. He told the boy that he was trapped in this world forever and that he would be his victim. The man started to chase the boy, and the boy started to run, but no matter how far he ran, the man was always right behind him.

Days went by, and the villagers noticed that the boy had gone missing. They started to search for him, but he was nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, the boy was trapped in the world of darkness, being tormented by the evil man.

One night, the villagers were gathered in the village square for a meeting. They were discussing the disappearance of the young boy and what they could do to find him. Suddenly, the old chair appeared in the middle of the square. The villagers were frightened, but a brave old man stepped forward and sat in the chair.

Just like the boy, the old man was transported to the world of darkness. The evil man with the long tie appeared and started to chase the old man. But the old man was not afraid. He stood his ground and told the man that he was not his victim. The evil man was taken aback by the old man's bravery and retreated into the shadows.

The old man returned to the village and told the villagers what had happened. The villagers realized that the old chair was the key to defeating the evil man. They decided to destroy the chair and with it, the world of darkness. They gathered all their strength and courage, and with one final push, the chair was destroyed, and the world of darkness disappeared forever.

The young boy returned to the village, safe and sound. The villagers were overjoyed, and they held a big celebration in honor of the old man's bravery. From that day on, the villagers lived in peace, and the evil man with the long tie was never seen again.

But some say that on dark and stormy nights, the old chair can still be seen in the village square, waiting for its next victim. And the evil man with the long tie is still lurking in the shadows, waiting to return and claim more victims.

Years went by, and the story of the evil man with the long tie became a legend in the village. Parents would tell their children the story to scare them into being good, and the young ones would listen with wide eyes and shivers running down their spines. But as time passed, people started to forget the details of the story, and it became just a distant memory.

However, there was one man who never forgot the story, a young boy who had heard it from his grandfather. He was fascinated by the tale and wanted to know more about the evil man and the old chair. So, he decided to leave the village and go on a journey to find out the truth about the legend.

He traveled for many days and nights, asking people about the evil man and the old chair. He visited old libraries, talked to wise men and women, and even went to the edge of the world to find any information that would help him. But wherever he went, he only found vague references to the legend, and no one could give him any concrete information.

One day, he met a wise old hermit who lived in a cave deep in the forest. The hermit told the young man that he knew the truth about the evil man and the old chair. The young man was overjoyed, and he listened closely as the hermit began to speak.

The hermit told him that the evil man was not just a legend, but a real entity that had existed since the beginning of time. He was an entity of darkness and evil, who would appear whenever fear and hatred dominated the world. The old chair was his gateway to this world, and whoever sat in it would be transported to his realm.

The hermit went on to say that the evil man had been defeated many times before, but he would always find a way to return. The key to defeating him was to embrace love and light, and to never give in to fear and hatred. The young man thanked the hermit for his wisdom and left the forest, filled with newfound knowledge and determination.

He returned to the village and told the villagers what he had learned. He inspired them to come together and to stand against the evil man, should he ever return. The villagers listened, and they formed a tight-knit community, where love and light always shone bright.

And so, the story of the evil man with the long tie became a tale of hope and bravery, instead of fear and terror. The young man became a hero in the eyes of the villagers, and the legend of the evil man and the old chair inspired generations to come.

From that day on, the village lived in peace and prosperity, and the evil man with the long tie was just a distant memory. But still, on dark and stormy nights, some say that you can hear the sound of an old chair creaking in the village square, waiting for its next victim.
