THE HUNTED HOUSE

There was only one rule

By Ali Sadeek AhmedPublished about a year ago 1 min read

There was only one rule: do not open the door. In a quiet Alexandria neighborhood, a group of boys decided to challenge the legend surrounding a long-abandoned building. Determined to prove the tales false, they vowed to spend the night inside.

They arrived before sunset, entered the building, and locked the room from the inside. As the night wore on, an eerie feeling crept in. Around midnight, one boy went to the bathroom and found the water running red like blood. The lights flickered, and strange noises echoed. He rushed back to find his friends panicking; blood seemed to seep from the walls, and objects were hurled around by an unseen force.

They scrambled to open the door and escape, but it wouldn’t budge.

Remembering the rule, they realized the danger they were in. Glancing at the windows, they saw ghostly figures with bloodshot eyes pressing against the glass, identical faces staring menacingly.

Overwhelmed by fear, they lost consciousness. When they awoke, it was morning, and the door was open as if nothing had happened. They fled, forever haunted by their experience and the unbroken rule: "Do not open the door."
