The town of Black Hollow was a place forgotten by time. A perpetual mist clung to its cobblestone streets, weaving between the skeletal remains of once-prosperous buildings. Shadows stretched unnaturally long, and the gas lamps, though lit, never seemed to truly burn away the darkness.

At the heart of the town, hidden beyond twisted alleyways and forgotten paths, stood the Hollow Veil Manor—a place spoken of only in hushed whispers.

🌑 A House of Secrets... A Warning Ignored 🌑

Amelia Dorne arrived under the wan glow of a blood-red moon. She was drawn to Black Hollow by an inheritance—an old, decrepit house left to her by a distant uncle she had never met. Yet as she stepped through the wrought-iron gates, a chill coiled around her spine. The house loomed before her, windows like blackened eyes, its doors creaking open as if expecting her.

Inside, dust coated every surface, yet there was a strange sense of order—as though someone had been here recently. Faint footprints marred the floorboards.

Then, a whisper, soft and curling like smoke, brushed against her ear.
