Season 1..
CHAPTER 1: THE SILENCE THAT GREETS YOU
Eli, arrives at Blackvale Orphanage for a summer caretaker job.
The building is eerily silent.. no creaks, no echoes, as if the walls absorb sound.
Mrs. Voss, the previous caretaker, leaves a list of rules
A landline rings at midnight.. disconnected for decades, with a child whispering, "Lila? Come play…"
"Why did I count the steps? Twelve. Always twelve. Except when I blinked."
"The townies called Blackvale ‘the God-blind place’—where prayers go to die."
CHAPTER 2: THE JOURNAL OF THE LOST
Eli finds a waterlogged journal, under the floorboards, written by a child named Martha in 1986.
It describes the "Hollow Girl Game" . ..kids chanting "Lila, let us in" until a door unlocks itself.
"Jenny won. She didn’t come back. Lila says it’s my turn tomorrow."
A hidden photo of Lila Hargrove, her eyes blacked out by something behind the camera.
Eli hears giggling in the hallway at 3 AM. A child’s shadow darts past, but the security cameras show nothing.
CHAPTER 3: THE ATTIC RITUAL
Eli researches Lila’s disappearance..she was the first to vanish, but the records claim she "ran away."
The orphans believed she became the Hollow Girl, a spirit who "plays" with the living.
Night Two: Eli wakes to scratching from the attic hatch. A voice: "You’re it."
The attic is impossibly large, with tiny handprints leading to a sealed trunk.
Opening the trunk, Eli finds Lila’s doll, its mouth stitched shut with human hair. The hair is still growing.
CHAPTER 4: THE UNRAVELING
Eli starts hearing Lila everywhere, a whisper in the shower, a reflection blinking out of sync.
Mrs. Voss returns, frantic: "You woke her up. Now she’ll want a new friend."
Flashback: 1986—Lila was locked in the attic as punishment. She played the Hollow Girl Game alone… and something answered.
The orphanage warps—hallways stretch, doors vanish. Eli finds Martha’s ghost, still chanting: "Lila, let us in!"
CHAPTER 5: THE HOLLOW GIRL WINS
Eli learns the true rule: The Hollow Game never ends. You just become part of it.
Lila manifests—a stretched, faceless thing with too many joints. She whispers: "Now we play forever."
The orphanage resets. A new caretaker arrives. The landline rings…
Last Line:"Hello? Lila? Come play—"
This story ruined my ability to sleep without a nightlight.
