As they explored the upper floors, they began to hear strange noises. Footsteps echoed down the halls and doors creaked open on their own. They tried to ignore the sounds and continue their exploration, but the feeling of being watched was becoming too strong to ignore.

Suddenly, they heard a blood-curdling scream coming from the basement. They rushed down the stairs to investigate, but as soon as they reached the bottom step, the door slammed shut behind them.

In the dim light of their flashlights, they could see that the room was filled with old, rusted tools and equipment. And then, they saw her - a ghostly figure in a long white dress, her hair wild and unkempt.

The ghostly figure began to move towards them, her eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. The friends tried to run, but the door wouldn't budge. They were trapped.

The ghostly figure drew closer and closer, until it was right in front of them. And then, with a deafening scream, she disappeared into thin air.

The friends were shaken and terrified, but they knew they had to get out of the house. They managed to break down the basement door and ran out into the stormy night.
