The Haunting of Hollow Manor
Unveiling the Secrets Within

The Haunting of Hollow Manor
I never believed in ghosts until I stayed at Hollow Manor. It was supposed to be a relaxing weekend getaway with my friends, but it turned out to be the most terrifying experience of my life.
Hollow Manor was an old mansion that had been converted into a bed and breakfast. It was located in a secluded area, surrounded by woods and hills. The owner, Mrs. Holloway, was a friendly and cheerful woman who welcomed us warmly. She told us that the manor had a long and rich history, dating back to the colonial times. She also mentioned that some guests had reported strange noises and sightings in the night, but she assured us that it was all part of the charm and atmosphere of the place.
We checked into our rooms, which were spacious and cozy. There were four of us: me, Jake, Mia and Sam. We had been friends since college and we decided to take this trip to catch up and have some fun. We unpacked our bags and went downstairs to explore the manor. It was a beautiful and elegant building, with antique furniture, paintings and decorations. There were also some creepy elements, such as suits of armor, taxidermy animals and old portraits with piercing eyes.
We wandered around the manor, admiring its architecture and history. We found a library, a game room, a dining hall and a ballroom. We also stumbled upon a locked door that had a sign that said "Do not enter". We were curious about what was behind it, but Mrs. Holloway told us that it was off-limits to guests. She said that it was her private quarters and that she valued her privacy. We respected her wishes and moved on.
We decided to play some board games in the game room before dinner. We had a lot of fun, laughing and joking with each other. We felt relaxed and happy, unaware of the horrors that awaited us.
After dinner, we went back to our rooms to get ready for bed. We agreed to meet in the morning for breakfast and then go for a hike in the woods. We said goodnight to each other and went to our separate rooms.
I was in room 13, which was at the end of the hallway on the second floor. It was a nice room, with a comfortable bed, a fireplace and a window that overlooked the garden. I changed into my pajamas and brushed my teeth. I turned off the lights and crawled into bed. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
I don't know how long I slept, but I woke up suddenly to a loud thud. I opened my eyes and looked around the room. It was pitch black and silent. I reached for my phone on the nightstand, but it was gone. I felt a surge of panic as I realized that I had no way of telling the time or contacting anyone.
I tried to calm myself down and think rationally. Maybe it was just a dream or a noise from outside. Maybe my phone had fallen off the nightstand or someone had taken it as a prank. I decided to get up and look for it.
I got out of bed and walked towards the door. As I did so, I heard another thud, this time louder and closer. It sounded like someone or something was banging on the wall behind me. I turned around and saw a large crack appear on the wall, followed by another one.
I gasped and ran towards the door, hoping to escape. But before I could reach it, the door slammed shut by itself. I heard a click as the lock turned from the outside.
I was trapped.
I banged on the door, screaming for help. But no one answered me. I felt tears streaming down my face as I realized that I was alone in this nightmare.
I backed away from the door, looking for another way out. But there was none. The only window in the room was too high and too small to climb through.
I heard another thud on the wall behind me, followed by a loud crack. The wall began to crumble, revealing a dark hole behind it.
I screamed as I saw two glowing red eyes staring at me from the hole.
They belonged to a creature that looked like a cross between a human and an animal. It had pale skin covered with fur, long claws, sharp teeth and horns.
It crawled out of the hole slowly, making a low growl.
It was coming for me.
I felt an overwhelming sense of dread as I watched it approach me. I knew it wanted to kill me or worse. I wished I could wake up from this nightmare or find someone to help me. But there was no one else here except me and this monster.
I felt paralyzed with fear as it reached me. It grabbed me by the neck with its clawed hand and lifted me off the ground.
It brought its face close to mine and smiled wickedly.
It whispered in my ear: "Welcome to Hollow Manor."
