The Haunting of Elmwood High
The Ghost of Mrs. ParsThe Ghost of Mrs. Parsonsons

Elmwood High was a prestigious school located in the heart of the city. With its impressive architecture and well-manicured grounds, it was the envy of all the other schools in the area. But, behind its grand facade, there was a dark secret that only a few knew about. A ghost, rumored to haunt the halls of Elmwood High, had been scaring students and staff for decades. This ghost was known by many names, but most commonly referred to as the ghost of Mrs. Parsons.
It was said that Mrs. Parsons was a strict and uncompromising mathematics teacher who taught at Elmwood High in the early 1900s. She was known for her harsh punishments and her quick temper. One day, Mrs. Parsons lost control and lashed out at a student, causing the student to run out of the classroom in tears. The student never returned to school, and it was rumored that she had committed suicide. Mrs. Parsons was said to have been consumed by guilt and regret, and it was said that she continued to roam the halls of Elmwood High, seeking forgiveness for her actions.
For years, students and staff reported strange noises, eerie sensations, and ghostly apparitions in the halls and classrooms of Elmwood High. Many claimed to have seen the ghost of Mrs. Parsons, dressed in her long, flowing gown and carrying a ruler, walking the halls late at night. Others reported feeling a cold and oppressive presence in certain classrooms, and many students claimed that they could hear the ghostly voice of Mrs. Parsons, shouting out mathematical equations and scolding students for their errors.
Despite these reports, the school administration and staff always brushed them off as childish pranks or the overactive imaginations of the students. But then, one fateful night, the ghost of Mrs. Parsons made her presence known in a way that could not be ignored.
It was a dark and stormy night, and the students of Elmwood High were huddled in their classrooms, trying to make sense of the difficult math problems on their desks. Suddenly, the lights went out, and the students were plunged into darkness. The sound of rain and thunder filled the air, but over it all, the students could hear the ghostly voice of Mrs. Parsons, her voice echoing through the halls and classrooms.
"You cannot hide from me," the ghostly voice boomed. "I will find you, and I will make you pay for your mistakes."
The students were paralyzed with fear, and many of them huddled under their desks, trying to make themselves as small as possible. Suddenly, the doors of the classrooms began to creak open, one by one, and the ghost of Mrs. Parsons appeared in each doorway, her ghostly figure framed by the darkness beyond.
The students were too scared to move, and they watched in horror as the ghost of Mrs. Parsons slowly made her way down the hall, stopping at each classroom door and peering inside. When she reached the last classroom, she stopped, and her ghostly voice echoed through the halls once more.
"I have found you," she said, her voice filled with anger and bitterness. "You cannot hide from your mistakes. You will pay for what you have done."
And with that, the ghost of Mrs. Parsons disappeared, leaving the students of Elmwood High to tremble in fear and wonder.
From that night on, the ghost of Mrs. Parsons was a regular presence at Elmwood High. The students whispered about her in the halls, and the staff did their best to ignore the reports of strange noises and ghostly apparations. But, no matter what they did, the ghost of Mrs. Parsons remained, haunting the halls of Elmwood High and reminding everyone of the mistakes of the past.
Years went by, and the students and staff of Elmwood High became used to the ghostly presence of Mrs. Parsons. Some even claimed to have seen her and spoken to her, and many believed that she was no longer a threat. But, on one particularly dark and stormy night, the ghost of Mrs. Parsons returned with a vengeance.
The students were studying in their classrooms when they suddenly heard a loud crash, followed by the sound of glass breaking. The lights flickered and went out, and the students were once again plunged into darkness. But, this time, the ghost of Mrs. Parsons was not content to simply haunt the halls.
She appeared in each classroom, her ghostly figure standing at the front of the room, her ruler in hand. The students were paralyzed with fear, and many of them screamed and ran for the door. But, when they tried to escape, they found that the doors were locked and wouldn't budge.
The ghost of Mrs. Parsons was relentless, and she made her way through each classroom, scolding the students and punishing them for their mistakes. The students were trapped, unable to escape the wrath of the ghostly teacher.
Finally, when the ghost of Mrs. Parsons had finished with her scolding, she disappeared, leaving the students and staff of Elmwood High to wonder what had just happened. When the lights came back on, they found that the school had been vandalized and that many of the classrooms were damaged beyond repair.
The incident was never fully explained, and the staff and students of Elmwood High continued to whisper about the ghost of Mrs. Parsons. Some believed that she had finally found peace, while others were convinced that she would return one day, seeking revenge for the mistakes of the past.
And so, the legend of the ghost of Mrs. Parsons lives on, haunting the halls of Elmwood High and reminding everyone of the dark and troubled history that lies within its walls.
