But the question remains can they escape the house before it's too late?

The sun was shining brightly as the family of four pulled up to their new home on Elm Street. The house was a fascinating two- story colonizer with a wraparound veranda and a white sentry hedge. The family could not believe their luck to have set up such a perfect home.

As they began to unload and settle in, strange effects began to be. Doors would slam shut on their own, and the temperature would suddenly drop. They could hear ghostly whispers in the nothingness of night. They all tried to brush it off as their imagination, but the circumstances came more frequent and violent.

One night, while the family was having regale, the chandelier in the dining room began to shake uncontrollably. Suddenly, the door leading to the basement swung open with a loud creak, and a cold breath filled the room. The family could hear creepy whispers coming from the basement.

The father, being the stalwart one, decided to probe. As he made his way down the stairs, he could hear steps and the sound of objects being moved around. As he turned the corner, he saw a figure standing in the darkness. The figure sluggishly turned around to reveal the ghostly apparition of a woman.

The woman spoke," Get out. Get out of this house before it's too late."

The father snappily ran up the stairs, alarmed and out of breath. He explained everything to his family, but they refused to believe him. They allowed

he was just tired and stressed from the move.

The haunting continued to escalate, and the family soon realized that the former possessors of the house had failed under mysterious circumstances. They were induced that their spirits were trapped inside the house, and they wanted the family to leave.

One night, the family heard the frontal door creak open. They saw the apparitions of the former possessors, who were covered in blood, standing in front of them. The family screamed in terror and ran for the door, but it wouldn't budge. The ghostly numbers laughed as they moved closer and closer.

In a last- gutter trouble, the family decided to perform a ritual to cleanse the house of its evil spirits. They gathered around a table, lit candles, and recited ancient conjurations. Suddenly, a bright light filled the room, and the house began to shake violently.

When the shaking stopped, the family looked around to find that the ghosts were gone. The temperature had returned to normal, and the house was eventually silent. They realized that the ritual had worked, and the house was eventually free of its haunting.

The family moved out of the house soon after and noway spoke of their gests again. The house on Elm Street remained abandoned for times, and it was said that no bone

ever dared to live there again. The haunting had come a legend in the city, and it was a warning to those who allowed of moving into the accursed house.
