The Haunted Hotel
A desperate stop at a decrepit hotel on a stormy night

It was a dark and stormy night, and Alice was driving down a deserted road, her headlights barely illuminating the way ahead. She was on her way to a job interview in a small town she had never heard of before. As she drove, she noticed a sign that read "Hotel Deadwood: Rooms Available". Alice was exhausted from the long drive and the weather conditions, so she decided to stop for the night.
As she approached the hotel, Alice felt an eerie feeling wash over her. The building looked old and decrepit, with broken windows and a sign that creaked in the wind. But she dismissed her fears and walked inside, hoping for a warm bed and a hot shower.
The receptionist greeted her with a smile and offered her a room on the fourth floor. Alice eagerly accepted and made her way up the stairs, her footsteps echoing through the empty halls. As she entered her room, she felt a chill run down her spine. The room was freezing, and the air felt heavy and oppressive. She quickly turned on the heater and huddled under the covers, trying to ignore the strange feeling that something was watching her.
As she drifted off to sleep, Alice began to dream of the hotel's past. She saw a group of people gathered in the lobby, their faces twisted in fear and desperation. They were being chased by a shadowy figure with glowing red eyes, and as the figure caught up to them, they were dragged screaming into the darkness.
Alice woke up with a start, her heart racing. She tried to shake off the nightmare, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong with the hotel. She got out of bed and decided to explore the hotel, hoping to find some answers.
As she made her way down the hallway, she heard strange noises coming from one of the rooms. She cautiously approached the door and pushed it open, only to be confronted by a horrifying sight. The room was covered in blood, with body parts scattered across the floor. Alice screamed in terror and ran out of the room, desperate to get out of the hotel.
As she made her way to the lobby, she saw the receptionist's body lying on the ground, her throat slashed. Alice realized that she was not alone in the hotel, and that she was being hunted by a vengeful spirit that had possessed the building.
She tried to find a way out, but the hotel seemed to have a mind of its own, constantly changing its layout and trapping her in endless loops. She encountered the other guests, all of whom had been killed in gruesome ways, and realized that she was next on the list.
As the night wore on, Alice was pushed to the brink of madness by the horrors she witnessed. But she refused to give up, fighting for her survival with every fiber of her being. In the end, she managed to break free of the hotel's grip and escape into the night, her heart pounding with fear and adrenaline.
Years later, Alice still has nightmares about the haunted hotel, and she never forgot the terror she experienced that fateful night. The hotel was eventually demolished, but the memories of the horrors that occurred there still linger on, a testament to the darkness that can reside in even the most innocent-looking places.
