The Grudge

True story

By ArunPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

This description sounds like the plot of the film "The Grudge" (2004). The movie is a horror film that follows the story of an American nurse living in Tokyo who is exposed to a vengeful ghost, or "grudge," that curses those who enter the house in which it resides. As she unravels the mystery of the ghost's anger, she uncovers a tragic tale of a young woman who was murdered by her husband and the societal injustice that led to her death

The young man, named David, had always been seen as weak and passive by those around him. He never spoke out for himself, and was often the target of ridicule. However, things took a dark turn when three spirits entered his body and started to manipulate him. They made him walk, talk, and behave like a woman, much to the shock of those who knew him.

David's mother, worried about her son's well-being, sought the help of an exorcist. The exorcist, a wise and experienced priest, immediately sensed that this was no ordinary possession. He delved deeper into the case, and soon discovered a dark and heartbreaking story of societal injustice, murder, and vengeance.

The spirits that possessed David were the spirits of three women who had suffered greatly in life. They had been victims of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and other forms of discrimination. They had been silenced and overlooked, and their cries for help had gone unanswered. Their spirits had been trapped in this world, seeking revenge and justice for the wrongs done to them.

The exorcist realized that the spirits had chosen David as their host because of his vulnerability and lack of self-confidence. They had taken control of his body and were using it to express their anger and frustration, hoping to draw attention to the injustices they had suffered.

The exorcist conducted a series of exorcisms to remove the spirits from David's body, but they proved to be a formidable force. He then realized that the only way to truly set the spirits free was to uncover the truth behind their deaths and bring those responsible to justice.

With the help of a team of investigators, the exorcist pieced together the story of the three women and their struggles. They discovered that the women had been murdered by a group of powerful men who had covered up their crimes and silenced those who tried to speak out.

With the evidence in hand, the exorcist took the case to the authorities, who finally brought the murderers to justice. The spirits of the three women were finally able to find peace, and David was released from their possession.

The exorcist and David's mother watched as the young man slowly regained his confidence and became his own person again. They realized that sometimes it takes great courage to stand up for what is right, and that the fight for justice never truly ends.

The exorcist begins his investigation by interviewing the young man and his family, learning about his background and behavior before the possession. He also conducts a spiritual and physical examination, trying to identify the source of the spirits and their motivations.

As he delves deeper into the case, the exorcist discovers that the young man's ancestors were subjected to a cruel tradition where men were forced to dress and behave as women. This was a punishment imposed on men who had been accused of crimes, and it was meant to shame and humiliate them in the eyes of the community.

The spirits, it turns out, were the spirits of three men who had been wrongfully accused and subjected to this punishment. They were unable to find peace in death and were seeking revenge against the society that had wronged them.

The exorcist then performs the ritual to expel the spirits from the young man's body. In a dramatic and emotional moment, the spirits are finally able to move on, finding the peace and closure that had eluded them for so long.

The young man is finally free from their possession, and the exorcist leaves, leaving behind a community that has been made aware of the wrongs of their ancestors and the importance of treating all people with dignity and respect.

The exorcist's story serves as a cautionary tale, reminding us all of the dangers of ignorance, prejudice, and injustice, and the importance of standing up for what is right, even in the face of overwhelming odds.
