The Great Halloween Dissapearance

It was the night before Halloween, also known as mschief night. Many children were running the streets causeing chaos, and flinging toilet paper all over the houses of people that lived on MullBerry Lane. But one house stood out in particular. 666 MullBerry Lane is the house that has had multiple dissappearances over many years. Each time the children would throw toilet paper at this strange house, and walk down the street, they would notice on their return back up the street that this spooky house now has not one bit of toilet paper on it. Where could it have gone they were wondering, when out of nowhere the front door of the house burst open and out came old man Withersnapper. He screamed at the kids "Keep your toilet paper away from my house or you will be met with 1000 ghosts and ghouls." Oh how right he was. The children only took this as a simple threat, as they thought that he could not summon ghosts and ghouls at his own will and boy were they wrong.

It was now Halloween night, and the children once again stood outside old man Withersnapper's house. But the difference now, is that each of them felt a ghostly feeling lingering. Even after each of them returned home, they said that the feeling was still there. These children do believe in ghosts and demons, but they didn't think that old man Withersnapper could just conjure up ghost and ghouls on command. Little Mikey said "how is it even possible, that he could do something like that?" Little Johnny then answered "Oh it's possible. My aunt Ann was a person that always did that." Then little mark, Johnnie's little brother, agreed that their aunt Ann was a very spooky lady, and didn't really bother with any of the family. "She was a black sheep of the family because of how spooky she was", said Little Johnny.

After 11PM the boys noticed that it got very cold in their bedroom, so they called little Mikey on their walkie talkies. Johnny said, "Mikey, do you come in? Over." At that moment a ghostly voice came back over Johnny's walkie talkie and said, "I'm not Mikey, but I will tell you my name if you come and visit me." Johnny then answered back and said, "Where do you live?" The ghostly voice then answered back, "my adress is 666 Mullberry Lane." The boys all got scared and Johnny realised that it was the address of old man WitherSnapper.

After about 1 hour of talking with this ghostly voice, Johnny then said "well guys what are we waiting for?" At that moment, Little Mikey's voice came over the walkie talkie, and said, "I don't know about this you guys. What if this person is up to no good?" Johnny then answered, "Well of we get caught into some trouble we could just use the phone to call the police for help". Little Mikey liked that idea.

It was now 2:30AM and the boys will be going to the house at one of the most dangerous times to be exploring a haunted house. 3:00AM which is also known as the devil's hour. He is known to haunt and be the most furious and angry when people go exploring where they should not be. Little Mark said "man, I don't know about this. Little Johnny then answered "What are you chicken?" Mark yelled out "NO" Johnny said, "That settles it. Let's go then. I mean it is almost 3AM and it takes nearly 15 minutes just to walk there."

The boys begin their walk. not even 2 minutes after mark and Johnny get to Mikey's house, they already noticed the frst ghostly activity. The mailbox door on Mikey's mailbox began opening and closing by itself. Mikey wanted to run back inside but, Johnny grabbed him by his shirt and said, "you're not leaving us alone to do this. Let's go." The boys began the rest of the walk to old man Withersnapper's house which was about 5 minutes from Mikey's. As they were walking up to the front gate, they noticed the gate was padlocked. Mikey said "I don't know about this guys. That lock wasn't there yesterday." When Johnny answered "maybe it was whoever talked to us on the walkie talkie that told us to come here." Little Mark agreed with Johnny. Johnny then yelled out "We are here!" The lock then popped open out of nowhere and fell to the ground creating a loud thump. The old rusty gate then creaked and cracked as it slowly began to open all by itself. The boys were even more spooked now than they have ever been in their entire lives.

Johnny was the first to take a step past the open gate. Little Mark and Mikey reluctantly followed close behind. They were shivering that they were so scared. They slowly made their way toward the old, cracked front door. The stairs were in worse shape then they noticed yesterday. Little Mark then said " Why does this house seem so much more old today?" Johnny said "I don't know, that is pretty weird. As they were talking they didn't notice the front door open and were startled by a ghostly voice "Well it's about time you showed up. I thought you weren't coming." The weird part is, nobody was at the door. Little Johnny looked up and noticed glowing eyes looking out each of all the windows from the house, and they all seemed to be looking right at the boys. Little Johnny said "Guys, I have a bad feeling about this". Just as he said that the metal gate behind them, slammed shut, and the padlock was now back in place and it was locked. Little Mark tried with all his might to open the lock but he just could not do it.

From there Johnny said "Maybe if we go in the house we can make a run for the back door. Just as the boys made their way toward the front door, Old man Withersnapper suddenly appeared out of nowhere and yelled "What do you boys think you're doing?" They all answered "We were invited by a voice on our walkie talkie" to which old man Withersnapper replied "Oh you must have talked to Mr. Riter. He passed away in this house 47 years ago today. He just wanted to have somone to play with, but his idea of playing is scaring the pants off of children." Just as old man Withersnapper was finishing his last sentence, the clock struck 3:00AM. He abruptly stopped talking and his eyes began to turn red. He then dissappeared and the boys could hear a deep voice, that still sounded like old man Withersnapper yelling, "You boys better have prepared for this night. I told you I can summon hundreds of ghosts and ghouls." Just as he finished that sentence The front door flew closed tossing the boys inside the house.

The view inside the house was weird to say the least. All of the furniture was turned upside down.They then ran into the kitchen, and saw what looked like a ghost eating a ghostly meal. The ghost turned to the boys and said with red eyes gleaming "Would you like to join me?" Just then as he said that, the walls began oozing a red blood-like slime. They then ran to the basement, which would prove to be the last thing the boys ever do. As they got down to the basement they saw a green swirling smokey lookng ring. Out of that ring came old man Withersnapper. He grabbed the children and pulled each of them into the ring. Those boys were never seen or heard from again. It is now said that the three boys now haunt the house at 666 Mullberry lane.
