THE GIRL THAT HATED HOSPITALS (EPISODE 2)

Adaeze stood at the entrance of the hospital, her heart pounding. She had always feared this place, but her recent health issues left her no choice.

Taking a deep breath, she stepped inside. The scent of antiseptics filled the air, and the soft hum of machines echoed in the corridors. Memories of her grandmother's last days here flooded her mind, but she pushed them aside.

A friendly nurse guided Adaeze to a waiting area. Soon, she was called in to see Dr. Okoro, a kind-looking man with gentle eyes.

"Good morning, Adaeze," he greeted. "How can I help you today?"

She explained her symptoms: dizziness, constant tiredness, and strange dreams.

Dr. Okoro nodded thoughtfully. "We'll run some tests to see what's going on," he said.

As Adaeze waited for her test results, she couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. The hospital's walls seemed to whisper secrets, and shadows danced at the edge of her visit

Dr. Okoro later shared her test results. "You have anemia and high stress levels," he explained. "We'll need to do more tests."

After her visit to the hospital, Adaeze returned home feeling both relieved and anxious. The doctor's words echoed in her mind: "You have anemia and high stress levels." But deep down, she sensed there was more to her condition.

That night, sleep eluded her. She lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, her thoughts racing. Suddenly, a soft humming filled the room. She sat up, listening intently. The sound seemed to come from outside.

Curious and a bit fearful, Adaeze stepped out into the night. The moonlight bathed the village in a silvery glow. Following the sound, she found herself at the riverbank. The water shimmered under the moon, and the humming grew louder.

As she approached the river, a figure emerged from the water. It was the same woman from her dreams, with flowing hair and eyes that sparkled like stars.

"Adaeze," the woman spoke, her voice melodic, "you are at a crossroads. The path you choose will shape your destiny."

Adaeze felt a mix of fear and awe. "Who are you?" she asked.

"I am a messenger from the marine realm," the woman replied. "Your spirit is connected to our world. You must embrace this connection to find healing."

Before Adaeze could respond, the woman vanished into the water, leaving ripples behind.

The next day, Adaeze visited the village seer. She recounted her experience by the river.

The seer nodded thoughtfully. "The marine spirits are reaching out to you," he said. "Your connection to them is strong. To find peace, you must balance your physical health with your spiritual well-being."

He handed her a small pouch filled with herbs. "Use this to cleanse your home," he instructed. "It will help ward off negative energies."

Adaeze returned home and followed the seer instructions. As she burned the herbs, a sense of calm washed over her. She realized that her fear of hospitals was not just about the past but also about the unknown aspects of herself.

Determined to understand her connection to the marine realm, Adaeze decided to embrace both her physical and spiritual journeys. She knew it wouldn't be easy, but she was ready to face whatever lay ahead.
