THE GHOST IS MY FRIEND

i was lonely young man and had few friends

By Srishti ChaudharyPublished 2 years ago 4 min read

This story happened when I was about to move into my new house. It was a large villa, situated in a dark and eerie forest. I was a lonely young man and had few friends. So when I got this opportunity to be a friend, I happily accepted it. That friend was a boy, whose name was Rahul.

Rahul was a man full of mystery and horror. He was busy studying ghost stories from his books and had no other work day and night. In the beginning, I also felt a bit nervous about this kind of world inside her, but slowly I also started enjoying being with her. We would watch and analyze horror movies together. All these things were quite normal, but life took a turn when we came to know about the presence of a ghost in that villa.

After a few months of our friendship, one night when we were alone in the Villa, Rahul said to me, "hey, you know, a ghost spirit lives in this Villa."

I laughed and said, "What a joke Rahul? Ghosts and wandering souls are only in stories."

Rahul said solemnly, "No, I am not just telling a story. There is a reality here. I have seen it."

I didn't believe his statement, but the fear on his face was to the extent that I didn't stop him. We talked till late in the night and laughed at ourselves, but in my mind I was aware of the matter of that ghost.

Over the next few days, our friendship grew stronger. We started spending more time together and Rahul started making the ghost stories more interesting. He tells me about his experiences

Started narrating clearly.

One night, we were watching a horror movie in our living room. The movie was very hytic and scary. I was shouting and Rahul was completely calm. Suddenly, about halfway through, the movie stopped and the power went out. We were left alone in the dark.

I was trembling with fear and Rahul said to me, "Kya hua yaar? Tu darr gaya?"

"That movie and tu ke kisse are all seeming true. I'm scared," I said out of fright.

Rahul smiled and said, "So now what? This is reality. You are not ready to meet the ghost are you?"

I didn't believe it, but a picture of a face flashed in my mind. It was the same ghost's face that Rahul had shown me one day. I said nervously, "Don't. Anyway, there are no ghosts."

Rahul said seriously, "I understand you. But it is true. I have met that ghost over there."

I felt a sense of fear and said to Rahul, "You are flying. I don't believe you."

Rahul told me, "Okay, you can go there and see if you want."

My heart cracked. I suddenly decided that I would go there and see. However, I was also afraid and did not believe that ghosts existed.

Rahul asked me to take him along and we both walked towards the back side of the Ville. In the moonlit night of the forest, the place looked downright scary and eerie. My heart was beating fast.

We were walking with our phone flashlights lighting the way. There was a state of peace within the forest. We kept watching the path for some time and only then a ghost-like object appeared in front of us at some distance.

I lost my senses and screamed. I said to Rahul, "Look! You were right.

What was It really is a ghost."

Rahul also got scared and started shouting along with me. We decided to get out of there, running in terror. We came back to our room and sat there laughing.

Rahul said, "You didn't see how the ghost passed in front of us."

I also laughed and told him, "Yes, saw. But why did he want us at all?"

Rahul said thoughtfully, "Maybe he wanted to be your friend."

A strange feeling came over me and I asked Rahul, "Has that ghost ever been dangerous in your experiences?"

Rahul continues his story, "Yes, my heart skips a beat when he comes. But he never hurts me. Maybe he loves me and tries to be my friend."

I was drowning in thought. Can ghosts really make friends? It looked weird. Many questions were arising in my mind and I was trying to find answers to those questions at the same time.

The same night passed, but the desire of that ghost and my curiosity could not knock me there. I lacked the courage to knock there. However, after that day, I experienced a different world in my mind. I started getting to know more about Rahul. Who was he? What powers did he have? And was he really my friend?

Slowly, I started understanding his desire and started talking to him. He started sharing all his secrets with me. He didn't come to be my friend, but to have a strange relationship with me. He loved me and wanted to be with me.

Gradually, our friendship grew stronger. We started sharing joys and sorrows with each other. To me, that ghost is a real and

Had become a special friend.

Life gave me a new perspective and I learned that we need to look at our beliefs about ghosts. They can become our friends and fill us with happiness. There is a view of them depicting different aspects of life, which we should try to understand.

Even today Rahul is with me, and we are with each other
