The Doll that Moves on its Own
A Mother buys a Doll for her Daughter, but strange things begin to happen at night

The Beginning of the Doll
Mira, a young mother, bought a cute doll for her five-year-old daughter, Rina. The doll resembled a little girl with blonde hair, a red dress, and large blue eyes that seemed to stare at anyone who looked at it.
"Thank you, Mama! I love it so much!" Rina cheered excitedly, hugging the doll tightly before taking it to her room.
The first day went as usual. Rina played with her doll all afternoon, talking to it as if it were her best friend. Before bedtime, she carefully placed it on a small wooden chair in the corner of her room.
However, something strange happened the next morning.

The Doll That Wouldn’t Stay Put
When Mira entered Rina’s room to wake her up, she found the doll lying on the floor—far from its chair.
"Rina, why is your doll here?" Mira asked, picking it up.
Rina rubbed her sleepy eyes and shook her head. "I don’t know, Ma. I put it on the chair last night."
Mira assumed Rina might have accidentally knocked it over in her sleep. But the next morning, she found the doll in an even stranger position—sitting upright on the study desk, as if someone had carefully placed it there.
"Did you play with your doll in the middle of the night?" Mira asked with a slight chuckle.
"No, Ma! I was sleeping the whole time!" Rina insisted, looking genuinely confused.
Mira started to feel uneasy, but she brushed it off, thinking Rina might have moved the doll and forgotten.
Until things got worse.

The Horror Begins
Over the next few nights, the doll continued to change places. Sometimes near the door, under the bed, or even in the living room. But what truly unsettled Mira was the morning she found it in the kitchen, sitting on the dining table—its head tilted slightly, as if watching her.
A chill ran down her spine. Had someone moved it? Or… had it moved on its own?
That night, as Mira tucked Rina into bed, she felt an eerie presence in the room. The air was unusually cold. The doll sat motionless on the chair, its glassy blue eyes reflecting the dim light from the night lamp. Mira hesitated before leaving the room, glancing back one last time.
Something about that doll felt... wrong.
She decided to find out the truth.

The Terrifying Footage
Mira set up her phone camera, positioning it to capture the entire room. She wanted to see if Rina was unknowingly moving the doll in her sleep.
The night was silent, except for the occasional rustling of the trees outside. Mira lay in bed, unable to sleep, her heart pounding as she anticipated the morning.
At dawn, she grabbed her phone and anxiously replayed the footage.
Fast-forwarding through the video, everything seemed normal—until 2:37 AM.
Mira’s breath caught in her throat.
On the screen, the doll, which had been perfectly still on its chair, suddenly trembled. Its red dress shifted slightly. Then, its tiny hands moved.
It climbed down from the chair.
Mira’s fingers trembled as she watched. The doll walked—its movements slow and jerky, like a puppet being controlled by invisible strings. It crossed the room, climbed onto the study desk, and sat perfectly still, its head tilting to the side as if it knew it was being watched.
Mira dropped her phone.
This was no longer just a child’s toy.

Getting Rid of the Doll
Heart racing, Mira rushed to Rina’s room, grabbed the doll, and stuffed it into a plastic bag. Without hesitation, she ran outside and threw it into the garbage bin.
But the nightmare wasn’t over.
The next morning, Mira froze in horror.
The doll was back—sitting neatly on Rina’s chair, its eerie blue eyes staring at her.
A scream caught in Mira’s throat. She could feel something watching her.
Panicked, she called her best friend, Dinda, who knew about supernatural occurrences.
"Dinda, I threw this doll away last night… but it came back." Mira’s voice shook with fear.
Dinda was silent for a moment before saying, "You have to burn it. If something comes back after being thrown away, that means there’s something attached to it."
Mira didn’t hesitate. That night, she took the doll to the backyard, doused it in gasoline, and struck a match.
As the flames consumed the doll, a strange, high-pitched whisper echoed through the air, almost like a distant voice screaming in agony.
Then, silence.
Since that night, nothing strange ever happened again.

Conclusion
To most people, dolls are just toys. But some may hold something more than just plastic and fabric.
If you ever find a doll that moves on its own, perhaps it’s time to ask yourself—
Is it really just a toy?
