The Demon in the Lake

The Johnson family had just moved into their dream home. It was a large, two-story house with a big yard and a beautiful lake at the back of the property. They had always wanted to live in the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and this house was everything they had ever wanted.

The family of six included the mother and father, Karen and John, and their four children, three boys and a girl. They spent their first few days settling in and exploring the vast property. It looked like something was moving under the surface of the water, but they couldn't see what it was. The family avoided the lake for the rest of the day, but that night, they heard the strange noises again. This time, they sounded closer.
