The Death Book
The Death Book .A mysterious book that only takes lives

A mysterious book that only takes lives. So the story begins in the year 1992, where a boy named Chris was studying at a high school in Norway. He was very interested in science and mysterious things. One day, he learned from the school Librarian about a 150-year-old mysterious book, but that book was kept in the cabin of Professor Jack Robert at school. While Chris was already fond of mysterious things, he wanted to get that book at any cost. So that very night, he secretly went to Professor Robert's cabin and stole that book from there. As soon as he reached home, he looked at the book, which was titled The Death Book. And when he opened it, the first page had some rules written. It said this book is only for those who can bear the burden of someone's death, and whoever's name is written in this book will die immediately. But after every death, the writer's own life will shorten bit by bit. Reading this, Chris laughed a lot and quietly thought that this can't really happen. Still, jokingly, he wrote his neighbor uncle's name. Then he put the book aside and slept peacefully. Next morning, he woke up early and got ready for school.
And as he stepped out, he saw an ambulance and a crowd at his neighbor's house. Shortly after, he was shocked to learn that his neighbor uncle had died of a heart attack. Then he ran to his room and held the mysterious book in his hands. Now he understood that this book was absolutely real. And with this book's help, he could now rule the whole world. But little did he know that that very book was going to ruin his life, too.
When Chris discovered the truth about this book, he went mad with joy. He began to believe that he could use it to eliminate all the corrupt and dishonest people in society. For ten consecutive days, he used the book to kill more than 20 people, one after another.
But every time he wrote someone’s name, he started feeling extremely weak and exhausted. The book clearly stated that with every death, the life of the writer would also slowly begin to fade away—but Chris hadn’t paid attention to that detail.
Now he realized that the book was slowly taking away his own life too. Terrified by this, the next day he went to his class teacher Nancy’s house. Nancy was a psychologist, so he believed she was the only one who could truly understand him.
When he told Nancy about the book, she couldn’t believe it at first. But when Chris showed her the list of names written in the book—all of whom were now dead—she was completely shocked.
She immediately warned Chris to stay away from the book, as it was extremely dangerous and could eventually cost him his life too.
After returning home, Chris locked the book away in a box and decided he would never touch it again.
But what was going to happen to him that night was even more terrifying.
So, as soon as Chris got home, he locked the book away in a box and decided he would never touch it again.
But that night, he began to have strange and terrifying dreams. He even started hearing eerie sounds coming from inside the box where the book was kept, which kept him awake all night.
The next morning, when he looked at himself in the mirror, he saw that he had become even weaker.
He immediately called Nancy to his house and the two of them started looking for a way to destroy the book.
Chris had now realized that controlling death goes against the laws of nature, and he began praying to God to forgive him for the sins he had unknowingly committed.
Eventually, the two of them burned the book together.
Nancy reassured Chris, saying, “Don’t worry, everything will be fine now.”
In the days that followed, things slowly began to return to normal. Chris also started to recover.
Nancy and Chris promised each other that they would never speak of the book to anyone.
But then, one day, Chris—just by chance. They tell a professor that the word spreads.
