There was an old, abandoned asylum on the outskirts of town that had been closed down for years. It was said that the asylum had been the site of unspeakable horrors, with patients subjected to cruel and inhumane treatments by the doctors and nurses who worked there.

Despite the rumors and warnings, a group of curious teenagers decided to explore the abandoned asylum. They snuck in through a broken window and began to explore the dark and creepy corridors.

As they made their way through the labyrinthine building, they began to hear strange noises and whispers coming from the shadows. The whispers grew louder and more frantic, and soon they could hear the sound of footsteps approaching from down the hallway.

The friends tried to run, but their legs felt heavy and sluggish, as though they were wading through thick mud. They could feel an invisible force weighing them down, as though the very air around them was thick and oppressive.

Finally, they stumbled into a large room with a single chair in the center. As they looked around in confusion, the door slammed shut behind them, trapping them inside.

Suddenly, the chair began to shake and vibrate violently, and the friends could hear the sound of screaming and moaning coming from all around them. They looked at each other in terror, unsure of what was happening.

As the screaming grew louder and more intense, the friends realized with horror that they were not alone in the room. There was a figure standing in the shadows, its features obscured by the darkness.

The figure stepped forward, and the friends could see that it was a man, dressed in a white lab coat. His eyes were wild and crazed, and his hands were stained with blood.

The man began to speak, his voice low and menacing. "Welcome to my asylum," he said. "You are my latest patients, and I have some very special treatments in store for you."

The friends tried to run, but the man was too fast. He chased them through the dark corridors of the asylum, his maniacal laughter echoing through the halls.

As they ran, they could see other patients lurking in the shadows - twisted and deformed figures with vacant eyes and gaping mouths. They were the victims of the man's twisted experiments, and they were hungry for revenge.

Finally, the friends found themselves in a large room with a single, flickering light bulb hanging from the ceiling. The man stood in the center of the room, grinning wickedly.

"You can't escape me," he said. "You belong to me now."

He lunged forward, and the friends tried to fight back. But they were no match for the man's strength and agility, and one by one they fell to the ground, their screams echoing through the asylum.

As the last friend lay dying, he looked up and saw something that chilled him to the bone. The man's face was changing - becoming twisted and deformed, as though he was not entirely human.

Suddenly, the room was filled with a blinding light, and the friends found themselves standing outside the asylum, their bodies battered and bruised but miraculously alive.

They never spoke of their ordeal again, but they knew that they had been lucky to escape with their lives. The asylum remained abandoned and empty, a testament to the horrors that had taken place within its walls. But some nights, when the moon was full and the wind howled through the trees, the friends could still hear the whispers and screams that had haunted them for so long. And they knew that they would never truly be free from the asylum's dark and twisted legacy
