It was an ordinary day for Ahmed, a 20-year-old living in a modest neighborhood. Like every morning, he left home for work, walking through the narrow streets bustling with life. As he turned a corner, something shiny caught his eye on the ground. It was a smartphone, seemingly brand new. He hesitated for a moment before bending down to pick it up.

The phone was black, with a flawless screen that looked like it had just come out of the box. Ahmed glanced around, but no one appeared to be searching for anything. He slipped the phone into his pocket, resolving to try to find its owner later.

The First Encounter with Mystery

After a long day, Ahmed returned home, sat on his bed, and pulled out the phone. Curious, he decided to turn it on, hoping to find some clue about its owner. As soon as he pressed the power button, an eerie message appeared on the screen:
"Ahmed, we know everything about you."

A chill ran down his spine. "Is this some kind of prank?" he thought to himself. The phone wasn’t connected to any network and didn’t have a SIM card. As he explored the phone’s menu, he found only one app installed, oddly named “The Gateway.”

Intrigued, Ahmed opened the app. A single question appeared on the screen:
"Do you want to change your life?"
Despite feeling uneasy, his curiosity got the better of him. He pressed "Yes." Suddenly, the screen lit up, displaying a series of photos of Ahmed in various places. Some of these moments he had forgotten entirely—pictures of him with friends, family, and even snapshots from his childhood.

"How can this phone have these pictures?" Ahmed wondered, his palms sweating. Just then, the phone rang. The caller ID showed no number, only the word: “Unknown.”

He hesitantly answered. A deep, chilling voice spoke:
"You’ve chosen to play, Ahmed. Now, you must finish the game."

The Game Begins

The next day, strange things started happening. Ahmed received a text message:
"Go to the park at 10 PM."
At first, he ignored it, but a powerful urge pushed him to comply. When he arrived, he found a small box with his name on it. Nervously, he opened it to find a note that read:
"Stop now, or face the consequences."

Terrified, he rushed back home, only to find his front door slightly ajar. Entering cautiously, he discovered his living room in disarray, and the phone sitting on the table, emitting a low, ominous hum.

Uncovering the Secrets

Ahmed soon realized the phone was no ordinary device. It began revealing disturbing secrets about his life—things even he didn’t fully remember. Messages appeared warning him that harm would come to his loved ones if he didn’t follow instructions.

One night, the phone sent another message:
"Go to the rooftop. Now."
Reluctantly, Ahmed complied. There, he found an old diary with his handwriting. Yet, he had no recollection of ever writing it. The pages contained details of events he had never experienced, yet somehow, they all felt real.

Attempts to Escape

Ahmed decided it was time to get rid of the phone. First, he tried smashing it with a hammer, but it remained intact, as if it were indestructible. Desperate, he threw it into the river near his home. Convinced he was free at last, he returned to his apartment.

But when he woke up the next morning, the phone was lying on his bed, its screen glowing faintly.

By now, Ahmed felt like the phone was controlling his life. He couldn’t sleep, couldn’t think, and began losing touch with reality.

The Final Challenge

One fateful night, the phone buzzed again. A new message appeared:
"The game ends tonight. Prepare yourself."
Ahmed felt a wave of dread wash over him. Suddenly, the lights in his apartment went out. The phone's screen lit up brightly, displaying a countdown timer.

10... 9... 8...

Panic-stricken, Ahmed tried to escape, but the door wouldn’t budge. As the timer neared zero, strange noises filled the room, growing louder with each passing second.

3... 2... 1...

The phone’s screen erupted in a blinding flash of light, and Ahmed blacked out.

When he regained consciousness, he found himself in a stark white room with no doors or windows. The phone lay beside him, its screen displaying a new message:
"Welcome to the next level."

The Open Ending

To this day, no one knows what happened to Ahmed. His family and friends searched for him tirelessly, but he had vanished without a trace. Stories about him spread throughout the neighborhood, fueling wild rumors. Some claimed he was trapped in another dimension, while others believed he had become part of the phone itself.

Curiously, the cursed phone reappeared, lying in the middle of another street, waiting for its next victim.
