The Curse of the Haunted House
Chapter 01 - The Curse of Lilliana
The sun had set on the small, busiest town of "Holland", casting long shadows across the empty streets. The only sound that could be heard was the rustling of leaves as the wind picked up, creating an eerie atmosphere.
A young and beautiful couple, "Christopher" and "Rachel", had decided to take a walk through the nearby woods, eager to explore the area. As they strolled hand in hand, they noticed something strange. But they cant able to differentiate what is going on.
The further they walked into the woods, the darker it became, as if the trees themselves were blocking out the light.
Suddenly, they heard a "bloodcurdling scream" coming from deep within the woods. They froze, unsure of what to do. But their curiosity got the better of them, and they ventured deeper into the woods, following the sound of the scream.
As they approached a small clearing, they saw a figure standing in the center, shrouded in darkness. The figure beckoned them closer, and they cautiously approached. Heart beat of Christopher and Rachel increasing above the normal and they can able to hear their heart beats. Lup-Dup, Lupp-Dupp, Luppp-Duppp, Lupppp-Dupppp....
As they got closer, they realized that the figure was a woman, dressed in a long, flowing gown that was tattered and torn. Her hair was wild and unkempt, and her eyes were a piercing shade of green that seemed to glow in the darkness.
The woman introduced herself as "Lilliana", the "Queen of the Woods". She claimed to have been cursed by a wicked sorceress, who had stolen her throne and locked her away in the woods. She begged Christopher and Rachel to help her "reclaim her throne and break the curse".
At first, the couple was skeptical, but Lilliana's persuasive words and desperate pleas for help soon won them over. They agreed to help her, and she led them deeper into the woods.
As they walked, the trees grew taller and the air grew colder. The couple felt a sense of unease, as if they were being watched. Suddenly, they "heard a sound that made their blood run cold". It was the sound of cackling laughter, coming from the shadows.
Lilliana told them that the sorceress was getting closer and that they needed to hurry. They continued to follow her, but as they got closer to her throne, they began to realize that something was not right. Lilliana's eyes had turned a cold, icy blue, and she was no longer the desperate, pitiful woman they had met in the clearing.
"They soon discovered that Lilliana was not the Queen of the Woods", but the sorceress herself. She had used her powers of persuasion to "trick them into helping her reclaim her throne". And now, she was determined to keep it, no matter what the cost.
The couple realized that they were in grave danger and tried to escape, but it was too late. "Lilliana had already begun to cast a spell, and they were trapped". The last thing they heard was her evil cackle, echoing through the woods as the darkness consumed them.
From that day on, "the villagers whispered about the couple who had disappeared into the woods, never to return". And the trees in the forest grew tall and twisted, as if they were waiting for their next unsuspecting victims. And the legend of Lilliana, the sorceress who ruled the Woods with an iron fist, lived on for generations to come.
