The Bath Game
A story about the game and its results

Lara, a 14-year-old girl, was spending her winter holidays alone at night, browsing the internet for new games. One evening, she stumbled upon a strange challenge called the "Bath Game." The rules were simple but chilling: at 3 a.m., she had to undress, fill her bathtub, turn off the lights, and wash her hair while facing the faucet. As she did, she was told she would see the spirit of a woman in the tub.
Intrigued, Lara decided to try it. She locked her room, filled the tub, and followed the instructions. When she closed her eyes, she heard footsteps and felt a sudden cold presence. Before she could react, a woman in tattered clothes with a disfigured face appeared in the tub, her right eye hanging out and bleeding. Lara froze but managed to leave without looking back, knowing the game wasn't finished.
The next day, Lara felt an eerie presence following her. As she went shopping with her mom, she saw the woman again, this time in a supermarket aisle. Her heart raced, and in an instant, she found herself holding the severed head of the woman, only for it to vanish the moment her mom called.
Terrified, Lara tried to escape the haunting presence, but Daruma-san followed her everywhere, even in the rearview mirror of the car. She felt trapped, and no matter where she went, the spirit was there, inching closer with every moment. Desperate, Lara began shouting the ritual words to end the game, but it was too late.
That night, Lara woke up in her bathtub, the cold hands of the spirit grabbing her. She screamed, but the suffocating laughter of Daruma-san echoed in her ears. As she sank into the water, her last thoughts were of trying to end the game, but she couldn't.
The next morning, Lara’s body was found in the same bathtub, her spirit claimed by Daruma-san. Her mother later found Lara’s diary, where every chilling moment was written. It was clear that the Bath Game had taken her life, and the curse would live on.
