Teressa fidalgo and Devil's pool
The devil's pool is an urban legend based on Australia
There are many scary messages roaming on the internet after the name Teresa Fidalgo. It became famous in the year 2014. A message was shared between the tennagers during that period. That message was "I am Teresa Fidalgo and if you don’t post this on 20 other photos, I will sleep with you forever," the quote spammed at the bottom of thousands of Instagram pictures this week somewhat ambiguously warns.
"A girl was ignored, and her mom died 29 days later." You can even search for me on Google. After that, many teenagers started sending it to others without knowing that it was fake. The basis for this was a short film which was shot in Portugal. It was night time, and the road was pitch dark. A girl standing on the highway asks for a lift, and the boys in the van decide to offer her a lift. After some time, the girl points out a place and says that she had an accident at that spot twenty years ago. Then everyone in the car will look at the girl with fear in their faces. While they are watching, the girl's face will start to turn into a monster. The car will also meet with an accident after some time. The name of the girl was Teresa Fidalgo. According to some articles, Teresa was not a myth and was a real person who lived, died, and haunted people. The articles and messages are even being shared today.
Devil’s pool
It is an urban legend based in Australia. This pool exists in the real world. We can take a look into the incidents and stories told regarding the pool. The Babinda boulders are situated in Queensland, Australia. It is famously known as the Devil's Pool. From the origin, the water goes into a hole. The hole is said to be deep and dark. It is considered to be very dangerous as it consists of many rocks. According to urban legend, a tribal community lived near the babinda boulders.
A girl named Alana was married to an old man in the tribe. After some days, she meets a young man from the other tribe. They both started to love each other. At one point, they even think of getting away from the village and the tribe. But unfortunately, they were both caught and separated near the babinda boulders. Out of frustration, Alanda jumped into the boulders even though her dead body was not recovered. It is said that her soul haunts the place and kills the young men who come to take a bath in the river. This legend got famous only after the series of deaths in the year 1957. More than twenty people faced death when they were here.
The point to be noted is that most of the people who died were middle-aged men, and their deaths are also said to be mysterious. During the 70's, a couple went for a vacation. When they both were taking a bath, suddenly the water started rushing. It killed the man but spared the woman. In 1979, a guy got stuck between the rocks while trying to dive into the water. He was in the state safety service.
His body was recovered after three weeks in a decomposed state. The government even thought of breaking down the boulder with the help of dynamite, but the plan was dropped. So later, it restricted many places to visit near the boulders. The people of the tribe say that the people who died should have distubbed the soul of Alanda in some way. That should be the reason behind their deaths. The people of the tribe even say that they hear the cries of a young lady during the night. But experts say that the formation of rock and the uncertainty of the water are the reasons behind their deaths. Comment with your thoughts.
