Talking With Actress and Producer Avaryana Rose

This edition of Talking With focuses on Avaryana Rose, who currently stars in the deadly new horror films ‘Odyssey: The Possession’ and ‘Bitter Souls’.

Filmgoers might recognize her from her previous role alongside Kevin Sorbo and his son Braeden in ‘A Wave of Kindness.’ She also earned festival awards for her role in child abuse drama Broken, and she starred in the human trafficking drama Not for Sale: Florida with Dead Cain.

At only 19-years-old, Avaryana has skyrocketed as a runway Model, verified YouTuber, and social media Influencer with over 1 million combined followers. She is a successful teen CEO and started the Babes Against Bullying brand to spreads awareness against cyber bullying.

Who do you portray in ‘Odyssey: The Possession’?

AVARYANA ROSE: I portray ‘Eden’, the lead singer of a rising punk rock band who accidentally unleashes an ancient demon when we stay at an old mansion one night on the road.

What helped you the most in bringing this character to life?

AVARYANA: What helped me most is music.

You also co-wrote and produced the film as well. What was that like for you?

AVARYANA: It was so much fun to help write. It was the first time I had ever dipped my toes into writing, and now I don’t think I could ever stop.

Do you have a favorite scene from the movie? And was it also your favorite to shoot?

AVARYANA: The sandwich throwing scene. Omg it was so funny to film we had to really focus to not laugh! After we filmed it, we all broke down laughing for a solid 15 minutes.

You’re starring in and produced another horror film called ‘Bitter Souls’; tell us about that project.

AVARYANA: ‘Bitter Souls’ was such a journey. I had a blast shooting it. The fight choreography was amazing.

What was it like working with all these horror veterans?

AVARYANA: It was truly a great experience. I learned a lot, thanks to all of them.

We must ask – do you ever get scared working on these projects?

AVARYANA: Funnily enough, no I do not. Filming horror movies is the most fun you’ll ever have in your life. Nothing is truly scary since we all know each other, and we have created a very safe environment.

What attracted you to want to be producer?

AVARYANA: I just recently wanted to see what it was like to step behind the camera, and I’m so glad I did. Being on a film set in any type of way I’m able is what makes me the happiest.

You’ve got a few more project in the works, right?

AVARYANA: Absolutely! I am very fortunate to be cast in multiple films with some great names that I can’t quite share yet, soon hopefully, but ‘The Caretaker’ will be filming in Vegas in December with Millman Productions and I am ecstatic! There’s also an NFT company Mogul Productions involved.

I also am currently filming ‘Going Postal’ with some amazing cast and crew including Vincent Ward from ‘The Walking Dead’. We also have another feature film in the works with a lot of great experienced people in the industry involved. Those announcements will be coming soon.

What inspires you the most creatively?

AVARYANA: Reading. I’ve always loved reading as long as I can remember. My love for reading has made me passionate about writing now as well. So, I plan on writing many more movies, and helping out behind the camera as well.
