Suitable Flesh Features One of the Worst Horror Movie Fates
It’s like an out of body experience. Literally.

I was pretty surprised with how original this film was. I was not expecting the story to get that crazy as it progressed.
The story follows a woman named Dr. Elizabeth Derby who is a psychiatrist. She tells her best friend, Daniella, the owner of a psych ward, about what what horrors she endured. She is actually in her own room at the ward, confirming that something really bad must have taken place for her to now be locked away. The film begins with the what she endured in the past.
She meets a mysterious patient named Asa who claims that his father is trying to permanently take over his body.
Derby becomes so intrigued, that she ends up getting caught in this crazy scenario, that involves Asa and Elizabeth switching bodies. Elizabeth realizes that Asa is now gone, being fully taken over by his father.
Elizabeth must do whatever it takes to make sure that she can keep her body…but to be honest, she made so many dumb decisions that led up to her horrible fate.
This film is a perfect example of curiosity killed the cat.

Elizabeth is one of the dumbest characters I have seen in a horror film.
1. She gets herself involved with one of her patients, which is Asa. They have a romantic fling, as she cheats on her husband with him.
2. She continues to interact with him, out of curiosity with his character.
3. She realizes she is now part of a ritual she cannot escape.
4. She was so desperate to escape from the now evil Asa, who was determined to take her body. No one believed her, and not even her best friend.
Seriously...I couldn't get over her character. She had great things going for her, and she ruined it all with her curiosity. Dumbass.
After one incident that occurs with her husband, she decides to resort to drastic measures to take down this monster for good. She says goodbye to the man she loves, and once she has Asa in her grasp, she attacks him with everything that she has.
And when I say she goes over the top...it's brutal.
Elizabeth stabs him in the head, pushes him out a window, runs him over her car multiple times, and then stabs him over and over.
That sounds like a lot, huh?
You would think he would be dead by now…but to actually avoid her terrifying fate, she must destroy the brain...and this does not end well for her in the end.
She loses her fight against Asa and her best friend must now be the one to take him down.

It's so freaking horrible to watch as Elizabeth receives such a horrible fate. She switches bodies with Asa while she is being held inside of the psych ward, but Asa's body had received multiple wounds after Elizabeth's attack. During the confrontation, Daniella ends up switching bodies with Asa, and her friend now finds herself in the body of Elizabeth.
This leads to her finally believing Elizabeth's tale when she sees herself standing in front of her. This leads to a lot of bad shit taking place, and it's insane what happens during the third sequence of the film.
1. Asa murders an innocent person.
2. Daniella is forced to put down her friend for good so that she wouldn’t have to suffer in Asa’s damaged body anymore.
3. Asa wins and takes over Daniella’s body, and Daniella is now forced to stay captive in her padded prison cell forever as Elizabeth, sounding like a total crazy person as she yells in desperation for her old life back.
It’s a terrible fate, and it’s so disheartening to see the villain win in the end.
If only Elizabeth hadn’t gotten so curious about Asa. Everything could have been avoided, and both her and her best friend would have continued to live normal lives.
In their own bodies, of course.
