Two gunshot sounds vibrated throughout the city. Fifteen minutes a later a body was found in the sacred lake Walena. As blood seeped its way to the floor of the clear blue water slowly turning it red, turmoil began to spread to anyone who laid eyes on the body. A funeral service wasn’t held for him, News of his death would cause an uproar too big too control. Instead a meeting was held between two of the most important figures in the Kingdom. A tall eerie man in a long hooded cloak steps forward.
“The head of the RS Mafia will turn himself in for killing the first son of the emperor.” The tall eerie man retreats into the shadows.
“So there’s no other options then”
“turn myself in.. well doesn’t seem like I have much of choice, but do you really know what that entails”. A woman in a long white dress approaches the man, “I Know that for murdering my son… i’m you’ll never see any day outside of a cell”, the meeting ended with the head of The RS Mafia Ko tyson being taken into custody. The queen makes her way to see Jin Tyson, Son of Ko, but a distinguished member of the Queens guard. “Nile was killed.. and your fathers been arrested for the crime.”
“What, but that doesn’t make sense. Especially right before his-“
“Coronation”
“Yes ma’am”
“Something doesn’t sound right to me either. That’s why I’m here. Right before my son died I noticed he’d been doing research in the catacombs under the castle” “here, this letter is the only thing I could find his room that seemed out of place. Please jin, find out what happened to my boy”
“Yes ma’am”
The queen takes her leave and jin begins his investigation by visiting the sacred lake. The RS mafia kills in specific way, One shot to the head one in right side of the chest and deep cut to the throat. Niles body was found in this exact way, face up in the middle of the lake. Why dump his body in the sacred lake tho, was it meant to be a message? Will there be more murders ? And most importantly where was nile killed. Deep Under the crystal lake lies a underground library and series of tunnels known only to the royals and a handful of elite personnel. The library’s origins date back to the beginning of the kingdom, and the tunnels connected to it even more so. Nile and jin spent years exploring the tunnels but jin has only seen the inside of the library a handful of times. To get into the library you need access card only given to members of royal families. Jin finds himself on an old passageway discovered by the boys when they were kids when he notices a route he didn’t recognize. There was an eerie essence about it, he began to get chills he could feel from the base of his skull to his toes. Every step he took forward felt heavier than the last. At the end of the long hallway there were three rooms. The first had locks all along the door but nothing but a bed inside. The second was filled with construction plans, Detailed records of people and accountings around the start of the empire. The third room looked something like an office space, but in the corner lay a desk with and old dusty book on top.
A photo drops on the floor, barely catching his attention jin picks it up. It was a photo of his father but much younger holding a baby and standing next to someone, who? He couldn’t tell the picture was torn down the middle. What a picture like this doing all the way over here he wondered. He approaches the desk again and takes the book then heads to a back entrance for the Library. The outside of the library has heavy security but only on the outside. Jin makes his exit through an old ventilation shaft, which drops him into an abandoned room right below the library. The room is hidden by a false bookshelf that serves as a door to the library. Jin begins looking into the history of the empire, hoping to find clues on the mysterious photo. With his father in jail there’s no way to ask him directly and best not to bother the queen with nothing that will do much for the case so much as quell his on curiosity. After vigorously searching through biographies, records , philosophical books and a handful of fictional tales, jin felt as though he was still on square one with the investigation. He picks up a brown journal with a golden bull pin on it, inside was a drawing of a king a queen and description of the time they ruled. Taking a closer look at the old man he resembled his father, his initials were J.M. The man was his grandfather. Jins dad never really spoke of his parents much less about being royalty so why hide it. It seemed more important than ever to find out who’s in the torn photo with his father, jin needs to discover who his mother is.
There’s three days left before Niles coronation, meaning there’s three days left to solve the case. Jin makes his way the Rising Suns Mafia headquarters, Hidden behind water fall deep in the mountains is a black and gold building that lie in between a field of trees.
“You’ve got some nerve showing your face here jin.”
The mafia see’s Jin as a trader for working with the royal guard, even more so now that the head of the gang his father has been arrested.
“Please Just step aside”
“Ain’t nobody moving for you punk. Especially with your father being arrested, your alone out here.”
“There’s no way my father killed The Prince. Please, I just need to see our old home maybe I can make sense of this” “How about no, we’ll kill you now you traitor”
“Let him pass” said a woman in a long brown robe with hair as red as a rose approaching from the inside of the base. “He’s still the son of our boss. He’s has every right to enter the base.”
“But chief”
“Quiet. Jin, you’re to go no further than property owned by your family. Try anything to jeopardize our operations and we’ll cut you down before you can think of escaping.” Jin agreed to the conditions for passage and makes his way to his childhood home, A small home built right on top of the biggest mountain in the land. His father liked his privacy. The home hadn’t been touched in years probably not since Jin left to join the Military. He visits his old room it was just as left it, a mess. Him and his father got into a brutal and physical fight the day he left. He makes his way to his fathers office, searching through every box, every folder, and stack of crumbled papers he could find. His father never spoke of his mother no matter how much Jin begged him to. Part of the reason he left home in the first place is because this and rumors about the Rising suns reeking havoc in the empire grew worse by the day. His search in the office turned up nothing, he makes his way to the living room when he catches that strong foul smell again, the air got thinner but this time he knew, there was something to be found where the scent was the strongest. He followed upstairs into the attic. There was a small black safe embedded into the wall.
“2…0…5…1” a low raspy voice was heard all around jin. “Hello”… no response. “2051. Where have I seen those numbers.” He pulls out the photo of his father and that bottom of the left corner, in tiny blue faded ink, “10/10/2051”. The photo was taken in 2051, he types the numbers into the safe and unlocks it. Inside was half torn picture and a letter signed by Stella Myzan. The letter read :
“Dear Ko, So long as my marriage to the Emperor will stop the killing of our people you can’t stop me from going. There are no other options, we’ve lost too many friends too many allies. We can’t keep fighting, but please take care of our son and know I’ll always love you both.” After reading the letter he pulls out the photo once more and places it together with the half torn photo in the safe. Stella Myzan, the current queen of the Empire was Jins mother. Jin takes a seat blown any by the truth of his roots. He decides to take a look into the old journal he had found. It belonged to his father. It had detailed plans and goals he’d have set to take action on once becoming king of the land.
“Nile knew about my lineage, if he had tried to meddle with his own coronation and move against the emperor. Would the emperor really.. kill his own son.” Nile must have worked with Ko to take down the Emperor, instead The Emperor had nile killed and made it look like a mafia hit. Nile has one more younger brother, his name is sol and he’s exactly like his father. Without nile and my father in jail he’d be claimed the next emperor. His father is innocent but there isn’t any proof. Jin leaves his family home and returns to the castle to speak with the queen.
He talks about everything he discovered and his theories. The queen confirms that she is his mother and apologizes for not being there for him like a mother should, and agrees that she thinks the likely killer of her son is the emperor. Unfortunately the investigation ends right where it begins with Ko in jail and blood in the lake. Jin and the Queen had been killed and dumped in the lake. The emperor was a cautious man and would rather sacrifice even his wife before giving up power and with that the last of the royal lineage was gone, some secrets simply drown.

Oh Dear. So sorry Jin dies. It is a good story plot. I think a few more punctuation marks would help though. And reread the second sentence, you have 'fifteen minutes a later a.
