Season 4: Whispers of the Forgotten: A Descent into Eldoria Manor
The Horror Continues... From the Maker of Tales That Breathe At Night!

Chapter 1
The grinding outside grew louder, a deep, earth-shaking rumble that vibrated through the cabin's very foundations. The windows began to rattle in their frames, and dust rained down from the ceiling. Alistair, his heart pounding in his chest, looked at the silent music box in his hands, then at his terrified companions.
"It's here," Lena whispered, her voice a thin, reedy sound of pure terror. "The house… it's here."
"No," Chloe said, her face a mask of grim determination. "The house itself can't be here. It's too big. It's the automaton. Lord Alaric's 'pioneer.' It's a mobile automaton, and it's come for the music box."

Silas, however, was in a bad way. The cold had spread throughout his entire body, and he was shaking uncontrollably, his skin a faint, icy blue. He was barely conscious, his eyes glazed over with a profound, soul-deep despair.
"It's feeding on him," Alistair said, his voice a strained whisper. "Alaric is draining his life force. He's trying to make him a part of the machine."
The grinding outside stopped, replaced by a deafening crash as the front door of the cabin was smashed inward. The automaton, a hulking, brass and steel monstrosity, stood in the doorway, its glowing red eyes fixed on Alistair, on the music box.

Alistair, in a moment of pure, raw terror, did the only thing he could. He threw the music box as hard as he could, out the open window, into the thick, dark forest.
The automaton let out a shriek of pure, mechanical fury, and turned, its massive body lumbering out the door, in pursuit of its heart.

The team was safe, for now. But the automaton was still out there, searching. And they knew it would be back.
Chapter 2
The automaton's shriek echoed through the forest, a grotesque sound that seemed to tear at the very fabric of reality. Alistair, Lena, and Chloe watched from the cabin window as the hulking, brass and steel monstrosity disappeared into the treeline, its glowing red eyes a malevolent beacon in the growing darkness. The cabin was safe, for now. But the music box was out there, and the automaton would not rest until it had its heart back.

Silas, meanwhile, was getting worse. The cold had spread throughout his body, and he was convulsing, his body shaking violently. "Alistair," he gasped, his voice a choked whisper. "I can't… I can't hold on. He's… he's too strong."

"No!" Alistair shouted, cradling Silas in his arms. "Don't you dare give up on me! We will find a way to get him out of you! I swear it!"

Lena, her face streaked with tears, was already on her laptop, her fingers flying across the keyboard. "I'm looking for a way. A way to fight a haunting. A way to fight… a machine-ghost."

Chloe, ever the pragmatist, was checking the cabin's defenses. "We need to barricade the doors. The windows. We need to be ready for when it comes back."
Alistair looked at his companions, his heart a mix of fear and grim determination. He had brought this upon them. He had awakened the Eldoria haunting. He had to be the one to end it.
He looked at Chloe. "I need you to find a way to analyze the music box. To find a way to destroy it. I need you to find a way to sever Alaric's connection to Silas. I need you to find a way to win."
Chloe nodded, her face grim. "I'm on it, Professor. I'll find a way."
Alistair looked at Lena. "I need you to find a way to communicate with the spirits. The Eldoria children. Isabella. They must have a way to fight him. They must have a way to help us."

Lena nodded, her face a mask of determined terror. "I'll try. I'll try to find a way to talk to them."
Alistair looked at Silas, his body now still, his eyes closed, his breathing shallow. "And I… I will find a way to fight him. To fight Alaric. To fight the man who would turn sorrow into a weapon, and grief into a tool of destruction."
He had made a vow. He would not fail.
