The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own. At first, I thought it was just a trick of the light, or perhaps a smudge on the glass. But as I leaned in closer, I saw that it was something much more sinister.

The reflection in the mirror was that of a stranger, with dark eyes that seemed to bore into my soul. I tried to look away, but I couldn't. It was as if the mirror had a hold on me, drawing me closer and closer until I was standing right in front of it.

As I stared into the stranger's eyes, I felt a sense of dread wash over me. There was something not quite right about this reflection, something that filled me with a deep sense of unease. And then, just as suddenly as it had appeared, the reflection vanished, leaving me staring at my own familiar face once again.

I tried to shake off the feeling of unease and went about my day, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. It was as if the mirror had opened a door to another world, a world that was slowly bleeding into my own.

Over the next few days, strange things started happening around the house. Objects would move on their own, and I would hear strange noises coming from empty rooms. I tried to convince myself that it was just my imagination, but deep down, I knew that something was very wrong.

And then, one night, as I was getting ready for bed, I caught a glimpse of movement in the mirror. I turned to look, but there was nothing there. I turned back to face the mirror, and that's when I saw it.

The reflection in the mirror was not my own. It was the stranger from before, staring back at me with those dark, soulless eyes. I tried to look away, but I couldn't. It was as if the mirror had me in its grip, holding me there as the stranger stepped out of the glass and into my world.

I screamed and tried to run, but the stranger was too fast. It grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me closer, its dark eyes boring into mine. And then, just as suddenly as it had appeared, it vanished, leaving me alone in my room, shaking with fear.

Over the next few days, the stranger appeared more and more frequently. It was as if it was trying to draw me into its world, to become a part of it. I tried to resist, but the mirror was too powerful. It was as if it had a life of its own, a malevolent force that was determined to take over my world.

And then, one day, as I was standing in front of the mirror, I saw something that made my blood run cold. In the reflection, I saw my own world, but it was twisted and distorted, a dark, twisted version of the reality I knew. And standing at the center of it all was the stranger, smiling with malevolent glee.

I knew then that I had to destroy the mirror. I gathered all of my courage and smashed it to pieces, watching as the shards scattered across the floor. And as the mirror shattered, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. The darkness that had been slowly creeping into my world was gone, replaced by the familiar sights and sounds of my own reality.

But even as I tried to convince myself that it was all over, I couldn't shake the feeling that somewhere, out there in the darkness, the stranger was waiting, biding its time, waiting for its next chance to break through into our world.

I knew then that I had to act fast before it was too late. But as I reached out to touch the glass, I felt a cold hand grip my wrist, pulling me closer to the mirror.

And then, with a sickening twist, I realized that the reflection staring back at me was not just a reflection at all. It was a doorway into a world of nightmares, and I had just walked right in.
