Never Whistle At Night!
Some superstitions are more factual than fictional!

There was only one rule: don’t open the door. If only she had remembered all the stories and superstitions that her grandma had told her about her when she was a child.
She broke a major rule in her Algonquian heritage “never whistle at night”. Whistling at night is said to attract dark and evil spirits. The second you whistle on a cold night these spirits can hear you and will make their way to the person that whistled for them.
Now the most feared spirit that no one ever talks about in Native American culture has now made its way out of the dense dark forest to the girls home. The second she saw it emerging from the trees after just whistling on the porch she immediately ran inside. She quickly closed all the blinds and turned off all the lights.
She then could hear it make its way onto the porch with its hooves and she could see its silhouette pass the one window. She saw that it has antlers, and in that second she thought the devil was coming for her. But this is no devil and it is far worse than that.
This thing is said to be older than the devil himself and far more sinister…The Wendigo.
She knew in that exact moment what she was dealing with. It made its way to the front door and it began to pound and bang on the front door.
Then all of a sudden this thing began to talk and it was a voice she had recognized. It was her dads voice which was impossible he was traveling for work. But now she has to remember don’t open the door because these things can only come in if they are invited in.
