Mystery of the haunted mansion

An old mansion stood on the edge of the village, which people called "Kali Haveli". People used to shudder on hearing the name of the mansion, because it was said that ghosts resided there. No one dared to go near that mansion. The wild trees, bushes and strange silence growing around the mansion made it more scary.

Many years ago Rai Bahadur Vikram Singh lived in this mansion with his family. But one night his entire family disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Since then the mansion became deserted and strange incidents started happening there. People used to say that at night sounds of screaming come from the mansion, windows open and close on their own, and sometimes a white shadow is seen.

Decision of courageous friends

Ravi, Anil and Pooja were three friends. They often used to talk about mysterious places after studies. Listening to the stories of Kali Haveli increased both their excitement and fear. One day Ravi said,

"We should go and see for ourselves what is there in the mansion. These ghosts and spirits are all people's fabrications."

Anil said a little scared, "Will this be right? People who go there never return."

But Pooja supported Ravi, "There is only one way to know the truth. We should go there."

Finally the three decided that they would go to the mansion on the night of Amavasya.

Entering the mansion

It was the night of Amavasya. There was dense darkness all around. The three friends moved towards the mansion with a torch and a camera. As soon as they reached the mansion, they felt a gust of cold wind. The silence all around was scary.

The main door of the mansion was open. A rusty iron chain was hanging on the door, which was making a slight sound in the wind. The three gathered courage and stepped inside. Every corner inside the mansion was filled with dust and spider webs.

As they moved forward, an old swing started moving on its own. Anil said shiveringly, "This must be happening because of the wind, nothing else." But Pooja looked at the swing carefully and said, "The wind inside is not so strong that the swing would move like this." Strange events begin As soon as the three stepped on the first floor, the window suddenly slammed shut on its own. Anil stepped back in fear. "Something is wrong here," he said nervously. Then Pooja's eyes fell on an old photo frame, in which Rai Bahadur Vikram Singh and his family were seen. Pooja picked up the frame, but as soon as she touched it, a cold wave ran through her fingers. "I think this family is part of some mystery," Pooja said. Discovery of the mysterious tunnel When the three reached the basement of the mansion, they found an old wooden cupboard there. As soon as the cupboard was pulled, a secret door was visible behind it. As soon as the door was opened, they reached a dark tunnel. Cold wind was coming from the tunnel and sounds of someone walking were heard from inside. Ravi said, "We cannot turn back now. We have to see what is here."

The three moved inside the tunnel. There was a big old table on which candles and books were lying. Something was written on the books in an unknown language.

Encountering the Ghost

As soon as Pooja touched the book, a white shadow appeared there. The shadow was of the mansion's owner Vikram Singh. Anger and pain were visible in his eyes. He said in a deep voice, "Why have you people come here? This place is not for you."

The three started trembling with fear. Ravi gathered courage and asked, "Who are you? And what happened here?"

Vikram Singh said, "I am the owner of this mansion. My family was deceived and murdered. My servant killed us by poisoning us and took over our treasure. But his soul is also trapped here."

Solution of the Mystery

The three asked, "How can we help you?"

Vikram Singh said, "My soul needs peace. Read the mantra written in this book and perform my last rites."

Pooja started reading the book in fear. Then strange sounds started coming from every corner of the mansion. As soon as Pooja completed the mantra, Vikram Singh's soul slowly disappeared. She said,

"Now my soul has found peace. Thank you."

End of the mansion

As soon as Vikram Singh's soul was freed, an earthquake was felt in the mansion. The walls started falling and the floor started breaking. The three ran and tried to get out of the tunnel. Finally, they somehow managed to get out of the mansion.

As soon as they came out, the mansion collapsed. The sky became clear and the scary atmosphere around ended.

New dawn

When the villagers came to know about this the next day, they appreciated the bravery of the three friends. The mystery of Kaali Haveli was over.

The three friends learned that the truth can be reached by facing fear. After the mystery of the mansion was solved, a new beginning took place in the village, and now people could go near that place without fear.
