Mater visits Mr. Toad in Hell
The new myth of Ogama

There was only one rule: don’t open the door. That is unless you dare distract the one-eyed king guarding the Fairy Ring. The Mater had invited herself into the ancient realm of Ogama, the trickster Toad and Yokai demon who sat underneath his toadstool, under the great mountain. He grown large and dangerous and remained hidden, behind his rainbow breath, until his long, powerful, sticky tongue reached out to catch most anything.
She entered through mycelium that spread through the earth and thrived in the urbain sludge of the wastewaters that spewed the methane and sulfurous stench of hell. They were how life started and had reappeared after Man had ignored the chaos of solar flares, earthquakes, global climate changes and economic collapse.
She had brewed her secret ambrosia, to feed to the orange, one-eyed toad king of the never-satisfied hungry spirits. They were animals, tormented by their unbridled needs driven by an insatiable desire of greed and anger who chose to ignore the gnawing pain of acids burning their entrails. They chose to silence those who opposed their misconduct, sexual or otherwise.
In the land of the blind, one-eyed toad is king. Shakespeare said "Sweet are the uses of adversity... like the toad.. (who) weares a precious jewel in his head."
No one could touch Mr. Crapaud. He would piss or soil himself and release a psychoactive, intoxicating milky white toxin, that first causes euphoria, then anxiety, nausea or seizures and, in some cases, death. Mr Toad was ready to commit suicide, or destroy others and an ideal, to validate his worth.
A toad does not run in the daytime for nothing. Mater would let him have his day in the sun. He would dessicate and die, or aestivate entering a state of torpor, and dormancy.
