It was late evening and I was at the lake relaxing when all of a sudden I heard people screaming, Help us! Help us!. I looked around but didn't see anyone so I decided to call 911. After calling 911, they told me that they received multiple calls about people screaming on the lake in my area and that I should try and help them out before the police arrived. So then I decided to go out on my boat and search for them with the first aid kit ready just in case I found anyone. After searching for about an hour with no success, I noticed someone was following me in the water.
Tragedy strikes a lake resort

Years ago, there was a beautiful resort right by a pristine lake. The natural beauty of the location drew people from all over to spend their summer vacations at the resort and enjoy being away from the bustle of city life. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when one day while many people were enjoying themselves on the shoreline some mysterious men came in and fired into the crowd. In that moment, over half a dozen people lost their lives as they were either shot or drowned in desperation to escape.
A high school student disappears without a trace

Bobby was feeling tired and hung over after a hard night out. It was still early, so he went to bed at 8 am, figuring he'd sleep it off. Once he got home around 10 pm, his dad told him that Bobby's mom wanted to talk to him. Bobby assumed she wanted him to go get her coffee like she usually did when they were both feeling rough from a late night. When he got there, Bobby saw his mom in the front yard screaming into the phone while neighbors gathered to see what was going on. She handed the phone to him as an officer pulled up with lights flashing. It's happened again, she said between sobs before handing him the phone.
Locals find heaps of dead animals near the lake.

One morning, as I was walking to the local coffee shop, I heard screams coming from the other side of the street. I quickly crossed the street and saw a group of locals huddled in a circle, all talking with excited hand gestures. The one person who was screaming was on her phone, and she hung up as soon as she saw me walking up. What’s going on? I asked. She turned around, avoiding eye contact and said nothing. I heard you scream, I said calmly, trying not to get into a fight with this woman. She sighed before turning back around again, looking at me for only a second before resuming her fake smile and speaking Just some dog that had been hit by a car!
Could it be something supernatural?

It was the day before All Hallows Eve when we first noticed the gas station. There were strange things floating on the surface of the lake that had never been there before and the ground shook with tremors and explosions. The gas station (or at least it looked like a gas station) was abandoned. There wasn't a sign or any evidence to prove it even existed. I know this sounds insane, but something happened when we passed by.
Four friends go to seek answers

In the woods, our four friends kept following the stone path, hoping to reach their destination. After hours of walking, they heard a howl from a nearby tree. Quickly looking around for anything that could be causing it, they see nothing unusual and proceed down the path. Suddenly all around them are the trees that used to hide them from sight now twirling about like someone had moved in front of them on purpose. The ground begins to shake with force and an otherworldly sound fills the air, making everyone scream at once. The shaking becomes more violent before stopping abruptly as if someone pushed stop on an audio player. The four friends looked at each other before continuing down the path. They hadn't gone much farther when a silhouette appeared before them- something big but not quite human- standing only a few feet away in the distance... In an instant the dark figure leaped across the space between them and landed in front of our heroes, then ran off into the forest. Scared out of their minds, they backed up against one another before bolting back towards town where nobody seemed to care that they were even there or what they had seen; what was happening?
As soon as we get home from this adventure I'm going to sleep forever- you hear me? NEVER WAKE ME UP AGAIN!
