Once upon a time, in a small village far away, where folklore and mysteries held their sway, there lived a young girl named Shanthi, so fair, but her health had deteriorated, causing despair.
Her actions became erratic, her words a tangled mess, Her family sought doctors, hoping for a success, But no cure could be found, no remedy to heal, as Shanthi's condition continued to reel.
Desperate for a solution, a relative came forth, Whispering of an ancient witch and her curse's worth, they spoke of Raju, a man with powers untold, and who could free Shanthi from the witch's hold.
Without hesitation, the family embarked on a quest, to seek Raju's help, hoping for the best, they arrived at his humble abode, filled with fear, praying that Raju's intervention would soon draw near.
As Shanthi stepped out of the car, she rushed inside, a sense of urgency and fear she could not hide, Intrigued and alarmed the family followed her trail, unveiling a scene that made their hearts quail.
In the garden stood a tree, once tall and proud, now felled and lifeless, a shroud, the witch and her children had made it their home, inhabiting the depths of its woody dome.
The witch had come seeking vengeance and might, to breach their abode, to invade their night, but with Raju's arrival, calm settled in the air, and the family gathered courage, banishing their despair.
Raju approached the witch with a kind, gentle plea, to release shanthi from her grasp, to set her free, Moved by his words, the witch agreed to comply, on one condition, to be fulfilled, or else the curse would not die.
She hungered for milk to nourish her kin, but not ordinary milk, a taste from deep within, Uncle rushed to fulfill the witch's request, seeking the sweetest milk, a treat for her guests.
Yet, as the milk was prepared and offered with care, The witch insisted on sweetness, a flavor rare, Uncle ventured to a nearby store without delay, Returning with gulbjam to sweeten the milk's way.
The witch's children eagerly lapped up the treat, their hunger abated, their satisfaction replete, but the witch, still wary, had one more demand, a task that would bind them, united hand in hand.
She asked for a tree to be planted in the dense forest, where milk would be offered daily, a gesture of utmost, for two long years, without fail or cessation, to nourish her spirits, to complete their salvation.
With hopeful hearts and gratitude within, the family accepted the witch's decree, no room for chagrin, they bid farewell to Raju and the enchanted place, filled with a newfound hope, a smile on each face.
